Fairway Inn - Motel in Fort Walton Beach - 203 Miracle Strip Pkwy SW, USA

Don't be like me and ignore the bad reviews. Do not stay here. The front desk workers were rude, wouldn't let people check in early without charging them extra, unlike most hotels in the area. wouldn't let me leave my bag at the front desk, like most hotels do. When I got to my room they were still cleaning it. Once they left, I found weed crumbs on the blanket, yellow stains on the blanket, and mold on the bedding. The entire room smelled like smoke. I slept in the chair the entire night. It was constant foot traffic and nose from the next door occupants. This is NOT a safe place for kids.

Absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND. I opened the door and it smelled awful. I couldn't walk in, it was bad. I smoke but even i could not tolerate that stench. asked for a different room and got an attitude from the lady at the front desk. Almost as if it was my fault that it stunk. There was Lots of activity outside, if you know what I mean. They couldn't pay me to stay there. It was not kid friendly, because of the activity outside.No door to bathroom also toilet seat was held on by 1 screw. There was what looked like mold on the ceiling , which it smells like it. I'm not sure if this room had a sewage problem but, yuck. The do have roaches, which I get it cuz we live in Florida, these were in visible in the bathroom and there was one in microwave. They refused for me to give money back because we went straight to the pool and didn't notice everything until we were actually were inside and changing. But what was really disturbing were the bed bugs. I lifted a corner of the sheet by the head bored and i took off running, I went back in to take a picture to show them at the desk.I'm very disappointed in everything. Especially when i showed the pictures of the bed bugs and they said it was a cockroach. I know what bed bugs look like! I will never come again. They need to shut this place down, seriously! That was the worst experience ever, completely ruined my weekend.

The room we stayed in was on the 3rd floor it was super hot when we went in but once it cooled down, it was great! The room smelled of bleach so it was clean. It was a non smoking room. The attendant at the front desk he was amazing. Very kind, friendly, and the room was reasonably priced. We didn't have any complaints about our stay there. They have a pool. There is a bar and restaurant in the same parking lot, which explains a lot of the activity. The beds were clean and so was the bathroom. Thank you for the customer service and the stay.

Positive: "" Negative: Our room was dirty.?supposedly a clean room, but there was urine on commode, towels were either stained or dirty, and floor had not been vacuumed or swept. This is definitely a hotel we would NOT recommend.

I went in and it smelled so badly ,went downstairs to ask for another room. Not only did the older woman give me a horrible attitude saying" Well you asked for smokin", " I can't pick and choose", And that because I opened the door it's got to be cleaned again and that need to pay a fee for that. I wouldn't want my worst enemy to have to stay in something that gross. The Worker's were kind but the Owner is ridiculously rude. You've Been Warned!!! It's so cheap for a reason. Also Drug deals in the parking lot which I don't understand why they allow that because they have cameras All Over!

The hotel is not worth the money and will scam you if given the opportunity. Stayed there in June of last year. Had to put in a dispute for fraudulent charges. Originally was going to stay for 30 days and they charged me the entire fee up front even after I told them I was leaving early. They gave me a receipt showing they returned the money though they did not. Still haven't received any money from them. Have called numerous times and they continue to claim the bank needs to contact them. I recently received an email and claim from my bank saying they will not honor the return. I do not recommend this hotel. Very unprofessional workers and the hotel is not well maintained.

It's the same price as the other hotels. All but they don't have breakfast and and when I'm in the regions of outdated but I mean, it's okay. They do have smoking rooms. So, you know, if you are a smoker, then I guess that's no impulse. If you're not then I guess doesn't matter, but I've had to stay here for a while. Well, I'm trying to find a place and they don't really have good rates for that. Very expensive, especially not at breakfast but it's alright, open my phone, please soon.

The room was very clean Strong smell of fresh paint.Asvertised free hot breakfast.Onky had for coffee .Still will stay there again.
