Fairview Park - Park in Olathe - 400 N Walnut, USA

Very nice — if small — playground. There is a covered shelter and bathrooms as well. There is a parking lot, but I didn’t see it when I arrived, so I parked on the street in front. I was nervous when we arrived because there is a large dog behind a medium-sized fence very close (50 ft. away?) to the playground. It was barking at us, and I was worried it might jump the fence. Fortunately, it eventually got bored of barking at us and retreated. My toddler had a great time watching a couple trains that went by. The tracks are probably a quarter mile away, but you can see the trains passing very clearly from the playground!

Its a cute park and will be visiting more

This is a brand new park and a late the great basketball courts swings slides. I love this park

Known to some as dark park, don't come here at night unless you got beef on the court!! Nice open area park next to the Tracks so it can be a little loud at times. But safe enough for kids in the day time hours

Nice park with plenty of shade, pavilion and public bathrooms. Parking area is around the corner. Park has a few different play structures than some of the other parks we have been to such as a Merry go round and some teeter totters.

Nice park to go to with a pretty awesome tree!

Clean very open and lots of fun stuff for the kids to play on. We sanitized before we played but it was already very clean for a park play ground. Very nice experience!! Seems safe and great neighborhood!

I'm going to share a possibly unpopular opinion, but I'm kind of glad the city took out the overgrown tree with the limb that sagged down by the playgrounds - despite the fact I've never been tall enough to slam my head into it, I nonetheless constantly thought I was going to in periphery. The rest of the playground is alright too, but being right on the ONLY street that passes under the train tracks means that it's sometimes nearly impossible to get out of there
