Fairport Harbor Lakefront Park - Park in Fairport Harbor - 301 Huntington Beach Dr, USA

Fairport Harbor is beautiful during any season and is well kept. (Check it out when the ice is thick enough and read about its history). The only thing I never loved was the parking, which while abundant, can fill up and it's not all paved. I believe there is an expansion for this in the works for the future. That will help. I've been able to appreciate this beach in many ways over the years with and without my kids. They have kayak rentals available, places to lay out and relax, and my son did Lake Metroparks youth boating lessons here (and they still do them here). There is concessions (I've not patronized but looks well visited) and bathrooms, rinse off station, and changing spots. It is not a big beach but I honestly prefer it. The view is beautiful with the lighthouse, break wall, jetskiers, boats, and ships.

This is an amazing curated museum and lighthouse. Very much worth the trip. Lovely little town with cute little shops and restaurants. The Finnish Museum is definitely worth the trip as well. Highly recommend!

Nice bit of beach. Was not expecting a nice beach walk on the lake but they have a decent beach out here. Nice sand and they also have a huge pier where people are fishing and you can watch the boats go in and out.

We went for the 3rd Annual Reggae Festival and spent a little time on the beach while there. Not only did we enjoy the music and food from the food trucks but we spent time on the water’s edge enjoying the sunset and trying out the giant chair. We also learned a little something about the lighthouse…it was working for 100 years!

We enjoyed the beach and appreciated the availability of clean restrooms. Great view of the lighthouse which we loved and the #BigBeachChair is fun!

Our favorite place to relax at the beach. There is everything you need available, including bathrooms, shower stalls, and a snack bar. It is quiet and a perfect place to watch the fireworks on the fourth of July or the sunset every evening. Walking distance to town, especially a must visit location the Fairport Harbor Creamery or breakfast, lunch, or dinner at the Fairport Harbor Family Restaurant.

Fun to come down to the park and beach. When we were there, Independence Weekend, there were plenty of people attending the carnival,but we also got to see a large ship sail out to sea. It was a little chilly abs late so E didn't get to play in the water, but captured some great photos.
