Fairmount Motel - Featured Reviews (44)
Disgusting motel (we stayed in 2023). There were a lot of spiders in the bathroom. There was some loud partying next door. We were supposed to stay 3 nights but the next morning we canceled the reservation and stayed somewhere else. We were told we would get refunded but never did. Any good review of this place is probably fabricated.
Nice double rooms with door separating the two. One with AC the other has the bathroom and a back sliding door. However the beds are very uncomfortable and very well worn in.. must get a room through the Shell station kind of inconvenient.
Positive: I was cold wet and tired it offered shelter Negative: Uncomfortable with how dirty it was .overpriced very loud the hotel had no one at the desk so I went to the restaurant same name. It wasn't theirs. Shell station owns it. Truly awful.
We had to wait 45 mins to be checked in. Very bad experience. Apart from that rooms were ok. Location is good.
This motel was gross and dirty. I was told by the workers that the 2 rooms I rented had just been clean. There is no way possible. The only reason i stayed at this motel after i seen the rooms was because there was no other option. Never will i stay or recommend this place. There are also homeless people everywhere walking around the parking lot. Very sketchy area. People kept walking past the glass back door while shining their car lights into it. We all had to sleep in one room due to not being able to get a hold of the shell station workers. The floors were so dirty i took a wet wash rag and wiped the floor and it was black from how much dirt was on the floor.
The room’s first impression came from the overwhelming laundry detergent smell. The staff that check you in at the gas station next door are nice. It has minimal amenities (wifi & tv) & feels like no one is expected to stay more than a night or use toiletries (where do people put their toothbrush, etc?). There is significant noise through the night due to the location. Our room was missing a chain lock & outdoor lightbulb. On our last night there was what sounded like a wild animal yowling followed by a door being firmly shut behind it. Overall quite unsettling.
the power in my room went out twice (room 112), the circuit breaker for that room in is the room on the other side of the building, so I couldn't fix it myself. The room they moved me to (104) has no pad lock because the door looks like it was kicked in, the trim along the door frame is broken where there should be the fixed piece for the lock but its f?cked off. I paid $140 (after taxes) to take a shower and feel uneasy and wishing I would have just car camped instead. I've stayed here in the past and it was aorund 70$ and I remember being impressed by the value for what I was getting but this time I'm pretty disapointed.
It was located close to Port Angeles, and Olympic National Park visitor center!
Other than the location, all the facilities were so basic. We had to pay $190USD for a night stay!
Walls were coming up, beds were cracked, there were couple of spiders in the room. Motel doesn’t have any lobby. We had to go to the adjacent Shell gas station to get the room key.
Not recommended for family stay!
It's a very quaint hotel. It's very clean and well put together and the rooms are a nice size. There's a view no matter what. Mountain or ocean depending on the room. The continental breakfast is awesome!! The staff is friendly and helpful. It's in a
