My fiance and I were here for 3 months and it was the best experience ever. Besides Montana being beautiful and one of the most peaceful laid back places ever, Fairmont RV park is an amazing place to stay. The park and amenities are well taken care of and the service we received was amazing. I see some reviews about how the owner, Dan, was rude… that’s not true. If you have common sense, respect the property and respect the owner of the property, you will have absolutely no problem. I am truly sad to leave this place, and we will be back here next time we come!

We were only here for one night but it was good. Check in was quick and easy. There are not a lot of trees in the park, but it looks like they have planted more. We stayed in pull thru spots. which are nice when you have a 29 foot trailer. One drawback is that there are no picnic tables at the sites. There is a covered area with tables but they were being used by a group the night we were there. We headed over to the resort to swim. You have to get a ticket from the camp host and they charge at the resort. He asked us at check in if we were going to go in the morning as we needed to have the tickets for then too. Our stay was good with no problems.

Don't understand the negative reviews. The owner is super personable and friendly. He has rules and he enforces them so I can only conclude that the people complaining are rule breakers. I commend him for being consistent, I.e rules apply to everyone. That being said, it's a beautiful location, far enough from the interstate with great 360 degree views. Hot springs are steps away as well as a golf course. There's a great walking/hiking/horse trail that is beautiful and peaceful and super close (walking distance). Butte has an incredible past that is well worth experiencing. Many of the things we all enjoy and/or use today were made from minerals mined in Butte. People came from all over the world to settle in this area. If you want a table here, bring one. most RVers carry one in their rig anyway.

This was our first time staying at this rv park and we were impressed with the cleanliness of the park and bathrooms. The owner Dan was very accommodating and gave us a great spot even though we didn’t have reservations. He went over the rules which seemed reasonable and helps to keep things running good. We followed the rules and had no problems. Beautiful location and it’s awesome that it’s walking distance to the hot springs (but they are pricey).

I have never had such bad service in my life. The owner Dan is the rudest and most inconsiderate person I’ve ever meet. However, the worst part was when we couldn’t find my 4 year old daughter. She went missing and it was starting to get dark. Our whole family was yelling for her. Other campers heard us and came to help as I was on the phone with 911. Dan quickly drove to me in his kart (going way over 5mph, which he made a big deal about) and started yelling at me saying, “I know you are looking for your dog but…” and at that moment I cut him off and said it’s my 4 yr old daughter as I was crying. Luckily we found her but he speed over to yell at my mother that the kid was found and we need to watch our children better. Mind you this was all before the 10pm curfew. The next day he calls us up to talk about what happened that night and we told him we did not appreciate the way he treated us. He acted offended, like he was expecting us to apologize to him. He quickly yelled back that we have 30 min to get off his property or he will call the cops. Meanwhile, the other worker was yelling at the kids to get off the playground and to quit playing with the sand. When we checked out the owner said “I’m not stupid, the whole thing was just a prank”, claiming he could tell by the way the kids were yelling, despite the fact that I was on the phone with 911. Word of caution to anyone who is looking for a place to stay, especially with children, I WOULD NOT STAY HERE!!! If you are interested in the water park close, I’d make other arrangements.

Stayed here for 2 months. Great lots, plenty of space. Beautiful Mountain Views. As a single woman I always felt very safe. Large dog park to let them run. Very clean, well kept park.

We just left after a 4 night stay, we also met Dan. He seemed like a friendly guy, what always speaks volumes for me is when the person interact with my kids. The 1st day we got there we bought a few things from his little store and the kids asked him a bunch of questions as they where so excited to go swimming. He was very friendly with them and not one bit annoyed lol and even got to talking about our oldest daughter who battled cancer at age 2, one of the reasons we are so familiar and love coming to fairmont hot spirngs. We come every 6 months with montana hope project, this was our very 1st family stay without them. Overall our stay was great, the rules were easy to abide by and totally reasonable. It was very peaceful and much needed get away. Overall we had an amazing stay and will definitely be back. Booking was very easy and we extended our stay by 1 extra day which was also very easy. The campground was very clean and well kept, they also had very nice bathrooms and laundry room. Another bonus is they are pet friendly, very reasonable, and a huge pet area which is very nice as well.

!!!!!!!THERE IS NO LATE ARRIVAL !!!!!!! stayed here one night on a trip yes, there is no late arrival, so don't ask; we barely made it. we had access (at an extra cost) to the hot springs next door, which made the stay awesome. bathrooms were clean and in working order. water was hot In my time on the road, I have paid more for less. I can see why some would have issues with the rules, but they are there. power/water and sewer were in working order R/
