Fairgrounds Craft Coffee and Tea - Cafe in Chicago - 306 W Erie St, USA

Was in Chicago for an extended layover and stopped here for a cappuccino. Excellent coffee, atmosphere, and service. The barista even offered to carry my cappuccino to my seat for me so it would spill. If I lived locally, this would definitely be a regular stop.

Well on a recent walk, we discovered this best kept secret. Hidden in plain sight just west of the Hooters on Erie street is this very different experience. Warm and inviting I felt at home as soon as I walked in. 2 very nice fairground staffers assisted me in choosing a great blend of coffee from Miami. Then while having my pour-over prepared I was able to get Cozy in one of their many tables. If you happen to be in the area and are looking for a different kind of coffee moment, be sure to consider fairgrounds. very cute place to do some work and have a lovely cup of coffee. staff was super friendly and helped me pick which drink to order! i ordered a lavender latte (my favorite) and a raspberry cream cheese muffin.

Really excellent place. Delicious hot tea . Get the Blueberry Rooibos, almost doesn't need sugar because it has natural sweetness. They give you a little hourglass and when it's done your tea is ready. Croissant was good too . Prices are reasonable. The place is funky with good music and also cozy with a few couches and lots of tables too . My friend liked his macchiato and said it was creamy. Staff were also very welcoming to us because it was our first time. Recommended. Was a short walk from the Best Western Hotel.

Gorgeous location with TONs of seating. Couches, booths, large tables, swings, and even a fireplace. A pretty extensive menu for a coffee shop. It looks like everything is made to order.. at least my ice tea was freshly brewed. There’s a water station with cold still and sparkling water. The only issue is that the train is really loud and comes by every 5 minutes. As to be expected in this neighborhood! Get here early, they fill up quick!

It's nice. Not awesome. No complaints. The food feels like an afterthought but it's fine. Noting to write home about. I think this place is beautiful and the aesthetic is just what you want. My drip coffee was great. I noticed that we have a lot of pour over options. I'd go back for that. Enjoy.

This spot really turned my day around. After a brunch place was closed down the block, I stopped in to figure out what I was going to do next. The atmosphere was chill, the employees were kind, I got the honey rose iced latte and it tasted so ✨luxurious✨ &delicious! It was a perfect Spring day in Chicago , the breeze blowing in the wind throughout the store. I am grateful my brunch plans fell through so I could try this amazing new spot. Thank you!
