Note: Fairgreen Apartments solicits 5-star reviews from their residents both in person and with signage in the office. Most of the other reviews here are from within the first six months. The following review is after almost two years as a resident. I've been here going on two years and I've dealt with 4 apartment managers in that short time (clearly there is a top-down issue.) The management here has a problem of leading communication with threats and litigious language in interactions with residents as opposed to focusing more on conflict or problem resolution. They will make promises they will not keep while expecting you to strictly hold to your agreements and promises or face eviction. The pictures provided are after their "Deluxe Remodel." By the way, if you take a deluxe remodel unit, expect a hike in your rent at your first renewal and it will be more than your neighbor's rent increase who doesn't have a remodeled unit. The bathroom sink doesn't even put out enough flow to even adequately wash ones hands or anything beyond wetting a toothbrush. Its also cracked abd warped and needs help draining. I asked if there was anything that could be done to improve it and their immediate response was to just say that I accepted the apartment as is and have to deal with it. The panel above the shower has always dripped and leaked. They claimed it was due to how the A/C was used and not because the drain pan they have installed is warped and old and can't drain because all the water collects in the middle and pours out of the bent sides. They also refuse to do anything about this. (Accepted as-is they said again.) You A/C unit, as mentioned in the lease agreement, can only cool the unit to a MAXIMUM of 20 degrees below the outside temperature. If you do the math and consider just how far over 100 the heat gets here, you'll notice you will not have a cool apartment in the summer. You just won't. They need better A/C units as these are not meant for West Texas heat. They go out frequently and the maintenance man spends all summer on the roofs even if you follow the guidelines for the A/C to the letter. That spout of water spraying higher than the building all night? Those happen from time to time. Others have said to keep an eye on your water bill when they do. You'll pay at least $30 per month pet rent, but the office will leave pet stations without poop bags for a week or two at a time even after you alert them that they are out. You'll also find other residents cleaning up after the ones who don't clean up after their pets as Fairgreens won't clean it up either and this only gets worse whenever they don't put bags out. Any special arrangements made with the office will never be given to you in writing no matter how much you ask for it in writing. "You don't need that, we promise" they say. Anything they say they will do will also not be given to you in writing and they likely will never do it. Tenants have rights, sure, but its hard to have those enforced when what the office says and what they put in writing differ. They will tow vehicles with registration stickers that just went out. They put mine on a do not tow list and it was still towed and gone for almost a week due to a holiday and the answering service Fairgreens uses not even having the information to the towing company. Their answering service is useless and unhelpful and doesn't give any information. Management is aware of this, but never seems to get itnfixed and just says "We have problems with the company that does our answering service." (They also do not have the towing company's name or information posted anywhere on the property.) Basically, it's all profits over people and they won't treat you very well here. There ate multiple issues with homeless people in the area and troublemakers from neighboring apartment complexes they cannot and will not do anything about. Do your research on the area. A police officer straight told me not to rent on this side of the university. I've had things stolen from me and from the laundry room.

I have lived here for a little over 6 months and Reagan is hands down the best manager. She always has a smiling face and greets you as soon as you come in the door. She makes it a pleasure living here.

I am 18 and I came to get my first apartment at fairgreen I was assisted by Reagan and it was by far the best experience. I shopped around and compared to other places, I chose Fairgreen not only because of the apartment quality but for her customer service as well.

Reagan in the office is always friendly and a great help! Tory the maintenance man always responds quickly and efficiently!

Niles is super helpful and has been there to assist me even while i got laid off and worked with me in anyway he could, the maintenance staff is super friendly and always working hard! The pool area is always super clean and well maintenanced. The neighbors are super courteous and i’ve never had any noise complaints. Overall 10/10 would recommend.

Reagan is a woman ,who was helped us to get an apartment. She is a seriously woman and hard working person that can be to do this job. We were so glad to meet her and wish her to do all the best all residents in further.

I would like to thank Tory and Theo for coming in and checking on my air unit, and requesting on getting a new one. I also thank Tory for going out of his way to check the problem and explaining every detail to me about what is going on, I really appreciated the feedback. Thank you again
