Fairfield Manor Bed and Breakfast - Bed & breakfast in Shreveport - 2300 Fairfield Ave, USA

I stayed at the Fairfield place and the Manor in multiple rooms. Each room is unique. Both homes have extravagant decor. They are both extremely romantic. The owners and staff will cater to the most request. I have not had any requests unavailable. The breakfast is unique and delicious. It's definitely a gourmet breakfast, and it's on the more healthy side. I can not say enough about the accommodations at these two facilities. The courtyards are beautiful. The dining areas the hallways and the stairways are just very impressive. There's lots of places to sit that are comfortable and shady outdoors. It's very private. It is one of the most unique romantic places that I have stayed at anywhere in the world. I've stayed in different countries and all over the United States. This little place in Shreveport Louisiana is one I visit a lot. I come because it's peaceful. The staff and owners are extremely polite. They make you feel like you're at home when you're here. I can't say enough about how impressive the architecture and the interior design are. It is a step above anywhere else you could possibly stay. I highly recommend coming here with a loved one or even if you had small children. I've seen them play in the courtyard, and it looks like they have a wonderful time. I will definitely be back many times just to escape the hustle and bustle of life and to have peace and tranquility in a beautiful romantic atmosphere.

Lovely older home that had been well loved and maxed out with charm and character. Its easy to see how it would accommodate large events as well as overnight travelers. Host and his dogs are friendly. Breakfast is not to be missed. I wouldn't recommend children to stay overnight as the house is filled with nice things.

This is a beautiful older home, it was a great stay here. They have snacks EVERYWHERE, all kinds of snacks from small rice krispy treats to sugar free Russell stover to Kind bars to Peppermints and Butterscotch and all kinds of other treats. They have spirits and wine and an ice machine, several types of coffee for the Keurig, teas, and instant coffee. You can eat breakfast, but you have to tell them in advance. The bed was awesome, the rooms are very roomy and quaint. We really enjoyed our stay, the only negative thing we experienced was the water pressure was a little low in the shower, but that is not a deal breaker for us. If you have the chance, you should stay here, they have a pool and the grounds are lit up by hanging lights at night making the place look really nice at night.

Initially, I was going to stay here for my wedding but I and my fiance decided against it. mainly because of the lack of communication and secondly, because they allowed us to have the password and tour without them while guests were staying. Sadly at that point, we had already paid to stay with no refunds. I decided to gift the rooms to my parents for a weekend of relaxation. However, it ended the leaving a day early and sore from a stiff mattress. Although the antiques are gorgeous and the decor is a style of its own, there is no excuse for this mattress to feel this old. on top of this, he put them in the wrong room and my mom couldn't reach the bed. (just so a different couple could have that bigger suit). The bathrooms were dirty and needed handy work. All and all this was a mess. If you have the money to try this then that's ok but this isn't for the average person to come and try. You will be disappointed!

This was such a lovely place! Miss Ruthie was a delightful host and showed us to our beautiful butterfly bourbon room. I wish we stayed more than one night. We both enjoyed it thoroughly.

i needed to be in Shreveport for a couple of days. I have been really underwhelmed by the chain hotels near the airport the last few times i was there, so i decided to try something different. Why not a b and b in the historic district? The reviews were good, so I gave it a shot. It was amazing. This is one of several old homes turned in to b and b's in the same area and under the same ownership. The owner and his staff were super accommodating. The houses are beautiful, the hospitality is fantastic, the breakfasts were really good, and there were coffee and snack bars set up for guest use at any time throughout the house. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Communication before and during the stay was great. I needed an after hours check-in as I had a late flight. I received a text with everything I needed to know, so check-in on my own was a breeze. The homes abound with cool art work, and just a really nice vibe. The location is convenient to the airport, downtown Shreveport, the casinos or just about anyplace you would need or want to go in Shreveport/Bossier City. i've found my go to place to stay n shreveport, and I highly recommend it.

The most beautiful house I've ever stayed in! I love these old huge houses! Beautiful neighborhood! Felt super safe and comfortable. We even got a courtesy call before making it there. The bed was so comfortable, me and my husband knocked out so fast. The matress amazing! The pillows amazing! Even better than ours lol. Room was very clean. There's snacks everywhere which we loved! Very sad we couldn't stay for breakfast though, had to hit the road early. It smelled amazing though! I loved the whole vibe here! We will definitely be back to really enjoy the hotel again! Thank you guys again.
