Went to visit family and booked two nights here. From booking to check out our stay was good. Beds are comfortable and sheets and blankets were clean. The breakfast that is included was perfect with different options for all ages. Felicia was in charge of setting up breakfast and taking it down. She was very pleasant and made sure we had everything we needed. She made sure the breakfast area was clean and replenished. The rooms have mini refrigerators and microwave in them. Nice area with different dining options and coffee spots. Parking was not over crowded and we always had a spot. The house keeping manager refilled whatever we needed. Definitely worth staying here and wasn't overpriced.

It was a beautiful place to relax, we visited Sequoia National Park and It was wonderful stay here to rest. Breakfast was so nice and clean. I loved that they had a deli salsa for the eggs. The ladies at the lobby are so kind and polite and they helped my mom because she forgot her ipad at her room. Great place to stay, we will back soon. Thanks to all staff ♡

We had a reservation made weeks in advance through booking.com. However, when we got there on the day, they said that they had our reservation but did not have any rooms available. They said that our only options were to either take a single queen bedroom for 3 of us, or drive all the way to Fresno at 10 PM, when we had already driven 10 hours to get there. They said that it was our ONLY option and literally every other hotel was booked in the area, so, we had to make a bed on the floor for one of us to sleep in because they did not even one cot or extra mattress. What kind of hotel doesn't even have an extra mattress? That was insane! They had a nice receptionist who tried to help us, however, the manager was not available at all, even the next day to even talk about a refund because it was the long weekend. We booked the place because it was affiliated to Marriot, but they really just acted like a cheap motel that did not care for their customers. They are a well-known chain, so maybe they think they can get away with this, however, if it was in my power, I would probably take legal action against them for overbooking their hotels for profit and mistreatment of paying customers in need for shelter at night.||A day later, we called to ask for a refund for the toom because that is the least that they could do, but the manager Maria was talked very rudely to my friend when she mentioned the refund. They were not even going to consider it if we hadn't called but they wanted us to give a partial refund because we used their facilities and could have chosen to go to any other hotel. We have booked a place weeks in advance as we knew the town was going to be packed with tourists on the holiday weekend. Any place that cared for their customers and not just making profits would be absolutely shameful and fully compensate the customers forced to sleep on the bedroom floor, when they were charged full price for the room they had booked. Upper management should be taking note

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! I had a very unpleasant experience with this hotel. I chose it because of its proximity to Sequoia National Park and made sure to book at least a month in advance. However, after completing a stargazing tour late at night, I arrived at the hotel around 12 AM and encountered a series of continuous inconveniences. Firstly, there was no one at the reception. We called continuously for 20 minutes before a staff member finally opened the door. After presenting my confirmation, they informed us that they were overbooked and could not accommodate us, despite our valid confirmation and itinerary number. All of this happened at 1 AM. They explained that the hotel had been fully booked since noon and had no available rooms. Incredibly, as they were telling us this, another family arrived and was promptly checked in. We were left shocked and confused. The receptionist claimed the hotel was fully booked since noon, yet they magically had a room available for this family. Feeling helpless, we politely asked for assistance in finding available rooms at nearby Marriott hotels. The receptionist responded rudely, claiming not to know or be able to help. As our group frantically called nearby hotels, the receptionist refused to make any effort to assist us, displaying an uncooperative and rude attitude throughout. Fortunately, we managed to find a hotel 40 minutes away from the Visalia hotel where we finally stayed the night. Although we resolved the situation, I feel compelled to highlight my deeply unsatisfactory experience. Technical glitches happen, but it is no excuse for unfair and disrespectful treatment of guests. We simply sought assistance to find accommodation at 1 in the morning, yet the receptionist was unwilling to help.

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had at a Marriott. Avoid this property! I wanted to change the type of room that I reserved so I called three months prior to my stay and was told “sure, that is no problem.” We arrive at the property and they did not make the update to the room type. This was extremely frustrating because it would have taken me two seconds to cancel the reservation and rebook in the app, but I was assured it was taken care of. They said that they could not change the room type the first night because they were sold out but would be happy to do so the second night. We go to change room types for the second night and the front desk attendant was the rudest person I have ever encountered at a Marriott property. Nobody was at the front desk so I rang the bell and there was a loud, frustrated huff. I started to explain the situation but he would not stop cutting me off when I was speaking. He was immediately argumentative and aggressive. I told him the prior front desk attendant confirmed there was plenty of availability to switch rooms and I showed him the message in the app where it was confirmed a second time. He would not open the computer to assist at all. In addition to the booking inconvenience, housekeeping did not come during our stay. They did not clean the floors before we checked in because there were brown/black hairs on the floor. Outside of the rooms and poor customer service, the elevator is a scary situation. The neighboring rooms were also slamming their doors at all hours of the night.

Absolutely beautiful hotel surrounded by palm trees, flowers, and a very nice neighborhood. The rooms were new, clean and nice and the check in process was smooth and easy. Free hot breakfast was good and we were very happy with our stay. We drove from Georgia to visit Sequoia National Park and this hotel was in the perfect location for that. Our only minor issue was the wifi was down for our stay and we kept getting a DNS error every time we tried to log in. Overall, a beautiful, safe hotel that we would love to return to.

This hotel has a HIDDEN charge of $12/day for "parking," buried in the fine print underneath pages and pages of terms and conditions. It is definitely *not* posted in a clear and obvious place when people make reservations! The surprise parking fee feels like a ripoff. Hotel is fine, rooms are fine, elevator carpet smells bad.

We experienced a highly disturbing incident where the fire alarm falsely went off not once, but twice, between the hours of 2 and 3 AM. After each of these false alarms, it took lengthy periods of time for guests to settle back in and quiet down. This occurrence was deeply unsettling and disruptive to our rest and overall experience.||According to the front desk staff, these false alarms were attributed to supposed electrical problems within the premises and this was not the first time the same issue had occurred. Such incidents are not only inconvenient but also pose a serious concern for the safety and well-being of guests.||Due to these repeated disturbances we got hardly any rest at all.||The room itself was also nothing like displayed on the website. It’s outdated, dark, and not very well maintained. It’s a rebranded motel at best, and easily ranks the worst among the few dozens of Marriott properties across the world I've stayed at. You'd be better off sleeping in your car than this place.
