Fairfield Inn Vacaville - Hotel in Vacaville - 370 Orange Dr, USA

This is more than just a hotel. I know that this brand is not known for being five star, or having some sort of amazing luxury experience I go to those hotels and really appreciate the attention to details. However, this hotel is becoming quickly one of my favorites. We stay in Vacaville on family business every other month. This is the second time we stayed at this Fairfield Inn. We love Marriot And have also stayed at other Marriott properties within a 1 mile radius.||But there are two things that make this hotel stand out for me. ||The first thing is the staff. Both times we have come to this property we were checked in by someone at the front desk named Dominique. When I tell you, this is the nicest person who truly loves her job I am not exaggerating you get the sense that she’s there because she likes welcoming people making them feel comfortable and at home on the property. I really was motivated to share how much I love this property by her. Welcome the second time around. Because we recall the first time we came here and just how sweet and kind and knowledgeable she was. It was great.||The other reason I am writing this is because these are hands-down, some of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever slept in. I thought it was me and it could be but I’m telling you there’s something about the feather bed or something luxurious and comfortable and amazing they’re doing when it comes to these beds.||I should also mention that the property is always immaculate.||Thanks so much to Dominique and the rest of the team that make our stays so comfortable!

I was initially skeptical about this hotel based on the reviews. I am glad I checked it out. This hotel is a hidden gem. Everything was exceptional. I used this hotel as a getaway for indoor swimming. The rooms were immaculate!!! Breakfast was delicious and fully stocked.

This place was ok. The ADA room bathroom was awesome, but the room was way too small if you have a wheelchair and also the complimentary breakfast was cold if it was warmer it probably would have been better then they had some guy in the parking lot knocking on room windows and he was in the cafeteria area starring at everyone making it very uncomfortable and none of the staff told him anything he looked loaded when we left cops pulled up but he was there for a long time before they got there we will not go back there again

July9th until July 12th. |Room was dirty upon check in and ac unit did not work in our room. When I told the girl at the desk around 8pm on July 9th “oh haha” we are not sure what was funny. She did not offer to let us change rooms or offered clean beddin. Breakfast options were the same everyday, nothing exciting. Mostly just processed meat and bread with no butter or jam. When I checked in, the african american girl was not welcoming. She appeared to be eating at the desk and got frustrated that we walked in. I felt like we were interrupting her meal. Everytime we passed the desk, she was looking down and did not greet us. + I would suggest changing the breakfast items or atleast rotating the menu, seeing the same things everyday is not appealing.

Rooms are okay. I was very sick and had my husband had booked the room for us. There was a miscommunication with the front desk and they booked us for 2 nights vs 1. We left the next day, leaving the card in the room. So come Monday I noticed a charge on my account. I called the hotel to explain and get reimbursed for the extra day charged and they didnt care. I would not stay there again.

A little perspective: we are Marriott ambassador elite lifetime, averaging 292 days at Marriott properties a year|We actually lived at this property sister Exit property for almost 3 years. So we are very familiar with this property. |That said… It was simply OK. The people were nice enough, but nothing special. It is looking very shabby and run down. Unbelievably so for a hotel that was updated only six years ago. |Our room was Spartan to say the least, and the toilet would not stop running. |This property is under fairly new management, and it shows. The old management would not have let an ambassador elite level customer(or any other customer for that matter… Liliana was all over it) have the experience we had. |We are probably going to leave these properties and go over to the courtyard on our next stay in Vacaville.

Probably the worse stay I’ve ever encountered. Room was dirty upon checkin, there was hairs in the showers and a shortage of toilet paper. Breakfast was disturbing. The breakfast attendant, was complaining about the general manager to the front desk people loud enough that we can hear from sitting at the tables. Apparently the general manager doesn’t know how to prep breakfast and buys food from Walmart since they don’t have enough to serve for the hotel. The breakfast attendant said this general manager has a new front desk trainee who can’t make breakfast specially the oatmeal correct so the poor attendant had to redo everything that was placed out. She also stated that the front desk who do breakfast do NOT have a food handler card which is AGAINST all regulations. I would steer clear of this property. It is clear they cut corners and not take necessary steps to be clean.

Positive: Not much Negative: Called prior to check in to request a bathtub room. At check in had to wait 15 minutes at front desk as no one was there. Didn't get a room with a bathtub. Room didn't even have an extra chair to relax on. Negative: ""
