Don't worry about negative reviews! This is a standard Fairfield Inn. Room was clean and neat. Shower had plenty of hot water and was decently clean. Room appeared to be fairly updated. Good bed. Tyler was incredibly friendly and welcoming at the front desk. He is a gem! We needed a room south of Milwaukee when all of the airport hotels were sold out. Great for a night.

We were happy to see the pool was open at this location. We checked in on Friday. The key card reader to get in from the south side of the building doesn't work. The front desk said that maintenance won't be in until Tuesday to fix it. Then the main level public restroom isn't working due to a pipe leak and the front desk said that maintenance won't be in until Monday. It's Saturday. While I understand maintenance needs days off too, there should be someone to be in to fix things like this on the weekend. ***Adding to my earlier post*** Changed my rating based on the experience we had today. My family and I had gone to the lake to swim around 10am. My husband had started to take his shower and told the rest of us the hot water was not working. I went to call the front desk and the phone in our room (220) was not working at all so I called from my cell. As soon as the front desk picked up, I started to say what the issue was and the person asked if it was about the hot water. I said yes and they said that it was off for the entire building. I then asked if there was going to be maintenance out today to work on the issue and the person said no. I proceeded to ask if we would be compensated for the inconvenience and she shared that I would need to contact the GM (Dustin) to speak with them when they are back in on Monday. At no point did the individual apologize for the inconvenience. I also shared that our fan in our bathroom and phone weren't working and honestly I don't even think she made note of it. This was the same individual who was telling their coworker at the front desk the day prior that they were hungover from drinking the night before loud enough that those of us eating breakfast in the complimentary breakfast area could hear. My family went to check out and no one was up front and not a sign or anything to say how to get ahold of someone. My father had to go back up to the second floor to give the person our keys and they said they would send us an emailed receipt. Very disappointed in the experience we had with this location and will be contacting Dustin.

Looks very dated some bare patches on the carpet . No snacks available in the pantry to purchase. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Good location if catching fast ferry across Lake michigan only about 40 minutes away.

Positive: The beds were very comfy and clean. Negative: Recommend adding toothpaste to the amenities. Breakfast overall was great, but pancakes or waffles as an option would is recommended.

This place is very lovely to stay at! Nice pool & work out equipment! However there was a weird incident that occurred, room service walked in with out knocking or anything, and as we headed out we told front desk about it and letted them know sine we was going to be gone they can clean it now. Instead of cleaning it they put a do not disturb sign on the door , but the manger Gwen handle the situation professionally! And made me proud of the manger mement they have in place here! 8.5 out of 10!

I tried to stay within the Marriott chain, big mistake. I think this may be one of the worst Marriott/Bonvoy brand experiences I’ve had. Our bathroom was not properly cleaned, the previous occupant must have shaved their pubic hair in the tub because there was much that was left behind. There was no body wash in the dispenser. The toilet paper was all scrunched up when we arrived. The shower water was lukewarm at best. I went in to take a hot shower to warm myself up, but came out feeling colder. Maybe it was because we were on the third floor. There was blood on the curtains. Had issues connecting to the internet, so couldn’t get much work done either. Gave up after using tethered internet from the phone for a bit. Good thing we are here only 1 night. From the reviews, I don’t think I should be looking forward to breakfast. Overall, can’t say I’m happy about the stay, and will never return.

I would love to give a proper review of this hotel, but even though I had booked a room several weeks ahead of time, the hotel was fully booked and I wasn't able to stay. This was according to Sheena who, presumably was at the front desk when I attempted to call ahead of my arrival. She told me there were no rooms left. I mentioned my reservation, and she hung up on me. It was like that Seinfeld episode where the car rental place ran out of cars despite Jerry's reservation: "But the reservation keeps the room vacant. That's why you have the reservation." "Yes, I know why we have reservations." "I don't think you do. Because if you did, I'd have a room right now." I can't recommend booking a room here, because apparently that's doesn't guarantee you getting a room.

The wallpaper in hallways is peeling. Room is not bad. Spacious. Older amenities. The young lady at front desk was very pleasant and helpful. Was given a gift bag at check in for being a member which was a cool surprise. The continental breakfast did not have many options at all and the set up was very clunky and unorganized. Eggs were not good. Location is odd. Can only access hotel if traveling east on Hwy 20. Can only exit hotel by going to East on Hwy 20. We personally would choose other hotels in area when visiting town again.
