The good and the bad:||Good:|Hotel was very clean (rooms, lobby area, hallways)|Hotel is quiet|Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are spacious||Bad:|Clientele - Some questionable clientele - Is this a voucher hotel for low/no income??|Incidental Charges - Hotel charges $100 for just one night for incidentals. It just does not make sense as there is nothing that a guest can utilize that would even add up to $100. No restaurant or bar on property, a limited snack and drink store, free parking...I think it is extreme to hold $100 for one night. This charge also remained on my card for over a full week. I was just about ready to call my credit card to dispute the charges when it was finally released.|Staff - Just not friendly at all. The limited times I spoke to a staff member it was very short and clipped. I don't think they like their jobs.|Security - While this "should" be a positive that there is a security guard on duty 24-7, it just made me question if it was a safe hotel/area even more. I have NEVER been in a Marriott guarded by Security other in downtown Manhattan. Makes you question your safety. |Amenities - The hotel is very limited in amenities. There is no bar or restaurant on site, breakfast states that it goes until 9:30AM but when I went to the lobby at 9:15, everything was picked up, and a few boxes of cereal were left out. The pool is on a separate locked key that you have to request from the front desk, there are outdoor tables but it is pitch black at night with no lighting so no real outdoor space....||Better choices in the area.....

Rooms are a little small. You can't take a luggage cart into the room. Took a really long time for hot water. Otherwise, the room was OK. No laundry facilities, but there is a laundry mat across the street. Fairly quiet. This was OK for one night.

Clean, comfortable beds Everything working. Breakfast - waffles, apples, oranges, cold & hot cereals, nuts, dried fruits, hard boiled eggs, (wish they had mayonnaise) yogurt, muffins, toaster & assorted breads etc.. Staff's pleasant. Wish they had ping pong, shuffle board, and other outdoor activities.

HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT with the Manager Kateryna! I stayed here for 3 nights in July 2024 under a promotion that added additional Bonvoy points nightly. Not only were the points NOT added to my account, they changed one of the nights to not add the promotion at all! I opened a case with Marriott Bonvoy to get this corrected. And after not getting a response for a month, I called the hotel directly to speak with the manager Kateryna. She was nasty, rude and unprofessional. Not only was my case still not handled, Kateryna blamed ME for the discrepancy in not having the promotion applied accurately! I'm now looking to speak with the General Manager. Kateryna has no place in Marriott and I don't appreciate her mismanagement, attitude nor lack of empathy, courtesy and professionalism. You DON'T handle customers like that!

Hotel facade. Motel Experience The bed was comfortable and the place appeared to be clean but there were several issues: 1. The sink in the bathroom was clogged and drained slowly. Anyone cleaning that room would have to use the sink and would know that. Unacceptable for it to be left that way unaddressed. 2. The AC isn’t modern central air, it’s a floor mounted unit. It did effectively cool the room but the person on that side of the bed will be disproportionately cold. It was also very loud. 3. The refrigerator in the room was very loud. At first glance, I was impressed that they had such a large fridge in the room but bigger was not better. 4. Slow check-in process and non-working contactless check in. I downloaded the Marriot Bonvoy app and logged into my membership so I could check in online and get digital key. Neither option was available. Also, there was one person working the desk on a holiday weekend so it took 20 minutes or so to get checked in. 5. Complimentary breakfast was ok, but not great. There’s only 1 waffle machine that’s just not enough to support even a small number of guests, salt and pepper was available but only if you ask, there were no hash browns/potatoes, or bacon offered, and very limited fruit options. 1 staffer tried to maintain the buffet while the other (who could not even answer simple questions) stood and watched. 6. The place is not very spacious. The room is small. The lobby feels crowded (with or without guests). Even the buffet and outside areas are tight. This wouldn’t be too abnormal in a congested urban area but for the location, the shoebox feel is a little surprising. New carpets in the hall and a large TV in a room where you can’t brush your teeth or wash your hands because the sink doesn’t drain and can’t hear the TV over the sound of the fridge and AC is like putting lipstick on a pig. It could be a decent hotel with better attention paid to the basic accommodations.

This hotel is the main reason I dont us marriott anymore. built in 2008 but has a dated dingy vibe like it was 40 years old. In desperate need of updating..cracked tiles in bathroom,and the morning of checkout I was greeted with a cool shower. yup. shower would not get hot and i wasted a lot of water waiting. lighting in the room made it look dingy. Dont get me wrong, the room clean. It just seemed old and dingy. I cant tell you how breakfast was. I went downstairs to get it, however a man used his hands and touched ALL the food. no thank you. I know you are thinking this is not the hotels fault. But why not always use covid safety. Food was individually packaged or staff served food one at a time. People are nasty. 3 stars because the bed was comfortable and a large tv, but this was the SMALLEST hotel room I have ever been in.

Nice hotel with small rooms and large beds. At least mine was. I like it like that. The pillows were not so much to my liking as they were all soft and I prefer mine firm but other than that, it was fine. The TV was nice and large and you got a lot of channels. The breakfast was good, too. The Internet was great too because once I logged on, I stayed that way as opposed to some hotels where their Internet is so terrible you have to sign on multiple times per day AND it's still weak. Not theirs. The location is also decent. Gas station on one side across the road, supermarket and other small businesses you might want to visit, brand new Dunkin just beyond the comfort inn next to my hotel. You won't go hungry around there.

Horrible stay. People partying in a room above me kept me up all night. The hotel must be floor must be constructed of cardboard and paperclips because the noise was awful. The front desk's apology was I'm sorry but we can't control how people act. Well now you know, so consider another hotel, avoid this one.
