Wonderful stay. Clean restaurant, great staff. Kitchen ran out of some breakfast foods, and after I inquired about it the staff found more and fixed it. Very pleasant stay. We have another visit booked next week. There are also some nice restaurants in the area which makes it nice.
I stay there a couple time and the pool is NEVER open .They can up with it not being clean. This time my room was not clean .The employee at the front desk was not super friendly nor accommodating AS ALWAY. As much as I came there last weekend was my last time stay there. They just lost a good person that come to NC ALL THE TIME. They said someone will call me from the management team. They never DID. So I call them and they keep telling me someone going to call. It's been 4 day and still no call. I didn't stay the last night and they still took my MONEY OFF MY CARD. I will be look for some were to stay when I come down there. Done with this STAY.

The soap and conditioner bottles in the shower were empty. |We stayed here in May and the indoor pool was closed for repairs and now in July it is still closed! Really? Don’t advertise that you have a pool if you’re going to keep it closed! |There’s no coffee/tea service 24/7 where every other Marriott that I have stayed at has had this or infused water. |What a disappointment. We have been staying at Marriott hotels since before 2012 we are lifetime Gold members and have seen a steady decline in the services and amenities. Every time we achieve a new level Marriott raises the bar!
The room was clean. The bed wasn't as comfortable as I expected. The service was good. However, when we got there, it took the front desk attendant a while to come check us in. She had a good attitude and customer service. The location is easy to get in and out.
My mother and I came from Charleston SC..From the time we checked in until today....Mrs.Bobbi checked us in,and when we woke up for breakfast on Wednesday,She is absolutely the Best!! She is an A1 employee.She represents you establishment to the fullest.. Attitude..superb People Skills.A+++ Overall...she rocks Just because of her..Will be Back Also,I'm a Breakfast attendant at Residence inn in North Charleston.SC.. Mrs.Bobbi deserves..a Raise She Rocks,!!! Also,I met 2 housekeepers Crystal and Tamar...they were very friendly!!! As for the young lady that worked overnight...She was awesome!!! Overall great place
I’m usually the one who writes glowing reviews but this hotel was Very Disappointing.|Staff was borderline rude on both check-in/check-out. Asked for water -was told no complimentary water for Gold members.|Room was Very Dirty! Food remnants all around room and hairs in bathroom.|Chair was filthy. Couldn’t sit in it. Bed covers were dirty. Refrigerator had a hair ball in it.|The whole hotel needs a good cleaning.|Breakfast was good, though.|We will not stay here again.
I will NEVER STAY here again. This has been the absolute worst experience. Most of the staff were either inept or didn’t care. The party ahead of us was given a room that had not been cleaned it took nearly an hour to get checked in. My room had another guest already inside. I kept getting questioned, saying I didn’t have a reservation, despite having a my confirmation. I received two receipts. I questioned this at the front desk. The rooms were not great. The beds were absolutely awful and were a bit smelly. I stayed in two separate rooms and the experience was the same. Upon checking out, the supervisor at the front desk had more important things to do than guest service. She immediately sent me to the next desk, which was fine, then another guest came behind me, rather than helping the guest, her solution was to tell me that I was in the way and that I needed to move, because the desk agent needed to assist another guest, despite the agent not completely answering my questions. In my opinion despite being styled like a Fairfield, this property is not deserving of the Marriott brand and should be considered a roadside motel at best. If you book here, expect to get low value for a premium price.
Looks nice when you first pull up, but the rooms and facilities are very out of date. Service is mediocre, they must be understaffed however because the same person I checked in with 5 pm the previous day, was working when I checked out at 10 am the next. Not too dirty but not that clean either, hair was still in my sink when I checked into my room and near the breakfast area in the morning I spied a dead cockroach. My room's TV was broken, the entire picture no matter what channel or program I was trying to watch was tinted deep blue. The bed is old and stiff. However overall it wasn't too bad, after 12 hours of driving it was nice to have a hotel right off I-95 so I could hop right back on the next day.
