Fairfield Inn & Suites Shawnee - Hotel in Shawnee - 14012 Transportation Pkwy, USA

The staff and Manager need major training. The Manager is RUDE and hateful. Who hired these ppl? Aside from the rudeness it would have been a great experience. The hotel is nice and Clean. All you need to improve is a new staff that knows how to treat guests!! Hired a different General Manager and I'm sure the attitudes will change

Fairly new hotel located off I-40, clean rooms, indoor pool (small), custome service was excellent. Shopping and eats are about 3/4mi south or west. Casino within walking distance to the north. In town for a weekend basketball tournament.

Staff was very nice upon arrival. We had 2 queen beds as they were sold out of king beds. Room was spacious, clean and beds were comfortable. Workout room was nice, the usual equipment and bright. We ate at Bricktown Brewery nearby and it was a great recommendation from the front desk.

I arrived at this hotel at 10:25 pm after 15 hours of driving and asked if they had a room available. I was met by a long haired man at the front desk, and I gave him my Explore Family discount form. He tossed it back at me and said "You do this online". Before I had time to ask for any sort of clarification he was gone. He had absolutley zero customer service skills and was not wolling to help us in any way. When we asked him to explain to us why we would have to download the app to book the room he very rudley replied with "I dont care what you've done elsewhere, this is what you'll do here!" Needless to say, we stayed elsewhere, and a d will never return.

This is very nice hotel, but the front desk and general managers have absolutely no customer service skills. They were very busy I understand, breakfast was a disaster people waiting around for things to be refilled, I told the front desk I had waited over 40 minutes for things to be refilled. So she did go tell the lady, but shortly after the worker started closing breakfast. Several people were upset, I left went back to my room and called told the same lady at front desk I believe her name was Jennifer. She proceeded to tell me breakfast was free, not guaranteed and told me to quit being a Karen and hung up on me. I was not being rude at all, I started to head down to talk with her in person. I decided better to just call from my cell phone and ask for a manager, she stated no manager on premises and didnt know how to get a hold of one. Again, I know she was was stressed because she told me alot of people were complaining, but customer service is having the ability to deal with people good and bad. I called Corporate they said had received other complaints that day as well. Corporate filed a complaint requested a refund, this hotel gm refused it. Thats fine, but so sad because this is a beautiful property, but horrible customer service and the behavior of employees is unexceptable. As long as you have no problems, your stay maybe great. I am just writing this review because I wanted to give them a chance to make it right. I hope the owners take action, so this hotel can really be a great place to stay.

We had to switch rooms, no hot water. The gentleman working evenings said we would need to request an early check after 7am. Luckily we woke up to do that. The morning girl acted like she making the decision whether or not we could have a late checkout. She allowed us to have one. The location was great!

Positive: "" Negative: The wrong dates were in my reservation. I changed the dates from August 8th to August 9th and the site showed changes saved, but it still listed August 8th for show up date. The staff was not willing to work with me

Nice hotel with excellent workers and is very close to numerous places to eat. 6 hotels within walking distance and Fairfield Inn seemed to be the nicest.
