Great hotel overall, customer service was great very friendly and helpful, rooms were not super clean, floors had stains, and wallpaper pealing, the water pressure in the shower may have been one of the worst that I have encountered in all of my travels, bathroom Mirror light did not work, pillows had a hairspray smell to them, the side door entry did not work you have to enter through the front at all times which made it very inconvenient to get to room, the pool was very small but nice outdoor patio sitting area. This hotel is definitely not what I expected from a Marriott. To end off our trip we were woken and evacuated from the hotel due to a bomb threat at around 9:30 am.
Front desk customer service was pleasant. The whole place is looking tired and needs a total upgrade. The shower was tipid not what you want after an 8 hour drive. When we spoke to front desk it was implied that maybe the boiler was not working again and no point in changing rooms. Shower area had exposed light bulbs. I would not stay here again unless they update. I would like to stress that front desk was friendly.
A little disappointing for a Marriott. Location is convenient, but the neighborhood is questionable. The hallways are very narrow to the rooms. Small elevator. The air conditioning works great. Antiquated decor and mustard paint throughout. Breakfast was sub par. Instead of having individual milk, they had a gallon of milk. Instead of having individual butters, they had a bin with butter glopped into it. Not very sanitary. No cream cheese for the begals. Looks like the owner was skimping out where he could and at these prices and the Marriott name, I would have expected better. Toilet seat not secured properly. Bathroom floor slippery like it was coated in oil. Shower floor was clean but looked dirty.
With that said, the most important part is the staff, and they were fantastic!
The hospitality at this hotel is the absolute best. Helen amd Joseph were friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. They went above and beyond to assist me when my previous hotel left me without a room. The district manager was also super helpful(I did not catch her name) in helping me secure rooms for my family at a sister hotel. Breakfast has limited choices but different each day and hotel pool was heated and clean. Hotel was also very clean from entrance to rooms and common areas. Only downside was the water in the shower did not get hot enough, just slightly above luke warm.
The hotel was very clean and nice. The breakfast was very nice, great variety of hot and cold items. There are 2 restaurants walking distance from it. The best part, though, was the customer service...EVERY person that we came into contact was were so incredibly nice and helpful. In fact, when we left the 3rd day we had to leave before breakfast hours so the front desk gave us a breakfast bag to go which included fruit, yogurt, granola bar and muffin. Now that's customer service!!
Nice hotel, decent rooms, some other locations little better. Weird smell and no enclosed closet. Stains on the bathroom walls and flickering lights. Also I'm a Bonvoy member but cannot get a single free bottle of water....lol and they don't have a wine opener to borrow (this is a first for me with years of travels). Lol
Super thin and scratchy towels, pillows smelled of stale hair products and body odors, stains on couch, badly patched hole above shower head, black stains on shower floor...and as if this wasn't enough, my husband and I barely slept the two nights that we were there due to a musty smell in the air. We spent the weekend coughing and clearing our throats. I won't stay there again, or any hotel that Marriott owns. Shame on them for being slum lords.
If you want to check in at 5:30pm, find used rubber gloves in your room, have the pool closed half of your stay, and not have a bathroom light work while being told they can either give you a flashlight or use the bathroom on a different floor (with 2 kids) this is the place for you! The lady at the front desk was great, “managers” not so much. The front desk woman did price match our room with a local room when we had to wait an hour and a half for check in after traveling 6 hours (because I wasn’t a jerk to her- not her fault) but I definitely wish I would have switched hotels at the first sign of trouble. Save yourself the headache (and be able to shower/go to the bathroom with a light on and door shut) and just book somewhere else.

Was traveling through and had the privilege of working out with a fun and talented group. The online sign up was super easy, was able to sign my waiver and reserve a class in a jiff. The gym was conveniently located and a quick walk from my hotel. T
