Fairfield Inn & Suites Saratoga Malta - Hotel in Malta - 101 Saratoga Village Blvd, USA

While I stayed at this hotel for 4ish months for work, I couldn't have asked for a better time. Lexi and Will were amazing for my entire stay. They had given me plates and forks for a lot of my take out meals, and gave a ton of recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. They were extremely friendly and was able to talk with them most nights during the week. I enjoyed every moment of my stay here, and it was all thanks to them.

My son and I stayed overnight at this hotel in June 2024. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the shower was plenty hot and strong. Parking spaces were abundant. All good! That said, we encountered two issues which stood in the way of a higher rating. First: The hotel's Internet wifi was out the entire evening. For me, this was a big issue! Second, the hotel uses far too much single-use paper and plastic, plates, forks and knives, etc. When I am paying $160/night, I expect real glassware in my room and real plates and cups in the breakfast room. Marriott claims to be environmentally conscious, but in this case the hotel doesn't walk the talk.

Just what we needed for a quick overnight. Convenient, safe area and very clean. Basic breakfast. Very nice staff. Would recommend. Only critique is that from our room you could hear the Highway, but it wasn’t a surprise. Not a deal breaker.

Stayed en route to Plattsburgh based on online "glowing" reviews. As a Platinum member I was given a studio room upgrade which was appreciated (I find many Marriott properties will have upgraded rooms available on the app but tell you none are available when you check in, ignoring the corporate upgrade policy). Anyhow, we got there after dinnertime and didn't realize how cool the room was until we got into bed around 9 pm. I had the heat set at 72 and it was blowing cool air (I'm used to sleeping at 65 so this was definitely a problem w/the heating). I called the front desk and the young lady said she would send someone up but after 20 -25 minutes no one came and my husband was very aggravated and wanted to sleep so I canceled the maintenance request. We cranked the heat up to about 80 and finally, after about another hour, the room started to warm up. Nothing was offered for this inconvenience (like points) but I didn't push the issue; just wanted to sleep, get up and get on the road. Speaking of the next day, I went downstairs and fixed myself a plate of breakfast food, and brought it back up to the room. It didn't look terrible but when I tried the eggs, I could tell they were artificial, completely inedible. The oatmeal was gummy, just gross. Sausage greasy. No fresh options, just carbs and processed junk. Sadly I tossed it all. Skip breakfast if you stay here and be sure to check the heating/cooling first thing before you unpack and settle in!!

I never got to stay at this hotel and I certainly never will plan to in the future. I made a reservation through American Express, I even paid a premium price because it was during a popular concert. We had a family emergency so I cancelled 3 days before the event. They refused to refund my $400+ that I paid. American Express said that the Fairfield had the right to refund me if the wanted to. AmEx called the hotel and pleaded my case. The hotel still refused to give me a refund. Very disappointing.

Rooms were extremely clean, staff was incredibly nice, breakfast was good and had a good amount of options. Was a great stay! If we are ever in town again, this will be my go to.

We have stayed here several times while visiting family. The rooms are always clean and well supplied with towels and necessities. The check-in is always fast and easy and the people are all friendly and helpful.

This hotel served its purpose, comfortable, clean and conveniently located next to national parks the highway Saratoga and everything that we needed.. friendly staff.. nice swimming pool could be a little warmer.. nice hot tub. Nice amenities for the price.
