Fairfield Inn & Suites Salina - Hotel in Salina - 2455 Virginia Dr, USA

Driving between N Texas and Denver, this is a perfect half way rest spot. Staff greeted us immediately and were friendly. Got our room, great layout. Liked the shower and how you could turn the water on without getting wet. Beds were comfortable and so were the pillows. A little soft, but you can easily bunch it up to fit your comfort level. Breakfast was popular, line waiting for the omelette and sausages. The Western omelette was really good, great amount of peppers and cheese in it. The breakfast service was awesome as well. She went table to table asking if anyone needed anything or she could help with anything. Coffees were good, not great if your a coffee snob, but the bold was a great way to start my day. We’ll stay again on our next trip this way. Extra bonus, first time I’ve seen these little screens to block the AC from blowing on you while sleeping. Great little feature!

The hotel seem newer. The girl behind the desk may have been new as we asked for a quiet room and was put by a service room , so we asked to be moved higher , she finally said second floor .. for being a platinum status we were not treated they way we normally are at other marriot properties.. she spend to much time outside in the phone or in the back room and not at the front desk|I would stay again if passing through .. and hope the front desk is trained better

We chose this hotel because there were some reviews mentioning the pool was warm or heated. I asked the person at the front desk upon arrival if the pool was warm because we wanted to pick a hotel primarily based on that. The lady at the front desk said it was but when we went swimming the next day with our kids the water was cold. Very disappointed primarily because that was one of the main attractions for our kids for staying in a hotel. Besides that, the lady working breakfast was very hard working and nice even if the food supply was low during the rush at the last 39 minutes of breakfast. I would not suggest this hotel if a pool is a major deciding factor. I knew it would be small but expected it to be warm.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel looks brand new. The staff was super kind at check-in. The room was spacious and modern. The stars of the show were the bed and pillows. Oh my they were so very comfortable! I took pictures of the tags hoping I could find them for home! The breakfast was great. Omelets, Belgium waffles, sausage, YUM! The coffee was awesome! If we're ever in the area again, this is where we will stay!

First room smelt like cigarettes and the second one had a tv that wouldn’t work. I asked for it to be fixed because I had to be here for a week for work. But they couldn’t do anything. I asked politely to be moved again and the front desk lady had an attitude and told me I could just leave. So I was checked out and told that my money would be released immediately. It wasn’t. So I had to sleep in my car because this hotel took all of my funds. Still waiting for my money to come back. This was such a terrible experience. I don’t recommend this place to anyone. The manager told their front desk that I have to seek other accommodations elsewhere.

5 Stars for having EV chargers and breakfast! The hot water was out at the time but they called ahead of time, emailed, had a notice posted and confirmed before I checked in. Obviously outside of their control, I feel like they handed it well. Rooms and bed were comfortable, very clean hotel

The rooms were nice and clean. My daughter loved the manager’s owl display in the front window. She even gave my daughter a stuffed owl to keep! It’s currently one of her favorite toys. We will definitely stay at the Fairfield Inn the next time we visit the area.

One of the nicer rooms we’ve stayed in. We didn’t get a suite but our room had a living room space with its own tv. The room & bathroom smelled fresh & clean. The only downside was the large gap on the bottom of the door made the room kinda bright during the night. We’d stay here again.
