Fairfield Inn & Suites Ruston - Hotel in Ruston - 1707 Roberta Ave, USA

We spent one night here while traveling from GA to TX. We made it in time for a lovely Happy Hour, and after eating dinner in Ruston, had a great night’s sleep. It was very clean, quiet, friendly, and the hot breakfast the next morning was delicious. This experience will probably encourage us to stop at Fairfield Inns on our next trip.

Rooms were clean. Can I say hotels don't have fabric furniture. Take a blue light to it. It's always for the most part nasty. Vinyl is cleanable. Our attendant at the front desk was very good. Our TV didn't work and she came up to work on it. When she couldn't fix it she had us move to a room. Brought us up the key for that room. The lobby was very nice. I'd stay there again. But not on the side next to expressway. I wondered why there was a set of ear plugs. At least they supplied that.

Excellent staff!! So friendly and personable! Made us feel right at home! Room was very clean and well kept! Will definitely be back !

This place was disturbing. I'm not sure how this place received so many good reviews.😷 It's certainly not the Ritz-Carlton or The Roosevelt. 😂I'm glad I brought cleaning products. 🤮The pool color was shimmering green, sure the swimmers were using it as a toilet 🤣and the room and bathroom.....filthy. The toilet had a ring of urine and feces...it's not hard water .......it was soooo disgusting!!! The bathroom mirror had toothpaste and water stains, and the counters were so STICKY🤢....WHY!???🤮🤮 It smelled like a wet dog in this hotel. The bed was not even worth reviewing, nor the carpet. Make sure you keep your shoes on at all times!! I would never expose my pets to this place.I was traumatized and had my husband get me out of Ruston.🤢🤮 I was literally scared to touch anything in this hotel. It was the worst travel experience ever!!! You get what you pay for.🤭

Great location from I 20 and quiet room. We were most excited about the front desk clerk addressing our non binary teen as "they". That NEVER happens! So awesome. Thanks!!

Very satisfied. Wife wanted to stay at Courtyard by Marriott, but I liked the price of this Fairfield by Marriott. We spoke to Brittany in housekeeping as we returned to our room on 3/16/2024. She was so sweet and did a great job getting our room together.

WE ARRIVED EARLY AND WERE TOLD BEFORE TIME WE COULD CHECK IN EARLY! THEY LIED GOT TO THE HOTEL AT 10A WE WERE TOLD 3P FOR CHECK-IN NO EXCEPTIONS! WE WENT BACK BEFORE 3 TWICE AND WERE TOLD 3P FOR SURE! GOT BACK AT 3P AND THE ROOMS WERE NOT READY WE FOUND OUT THE MAID CLEANING FOR THE DAY WAS NOT PLACING ROOMS IN CLEAN STATUS AFTER SHE CLEANED AND NEITHER DID THE FRONT DESK CLERK MAKE AN EFFORT TO MAKE OUR FAMILY FEEL WELCOME! WE WERE TOLD ROLLING BEDS WOULD BE AVAILABLE FOUND OUT $25 EXTRA (FRONT DESK CLEARK SAID SHE WOULD CALL THE MANAGER TO APPROVE COMPLIMENTARY BEDS AFTER ALL OF THE HASSLE JUST TO CHECK IN THAT NEVER HAPPENED)! AFTER ALL OF THE RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE! NO GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE! BROWN RINGS IN THE TUBS AND TOILETS AND BREAKFAST WAS SOOOO NASTY! THE ELEVATOR WAS SO RAGGEDY EVERY TIME YOU RODE IT UP OR DOWN IT MADE A NOISE AS IF IT WAS ABOUT TO STOP! NEVER WILL I STAY HERE AGAIN! WE WERE HERE FOR A FAMILY REUNION. THE WORST MISTAKE THE HOTEL ROOMS WERE VERY OVERPRICED AND DIRTY! NEVER HAD CLEANED TOWELS WE ASKED AND WERE TOLD THEY WERE IN THE WASHER! THEIR CHECK-OUT TIME IS 12N BUT THE HOTEL IS NOT BIG ENOUGH TO ALLOW THIS LATE CHECK OUT THEY NEED A EARLY CHECK OUT LIKE 11A TO GET READY FOR THE AFTERNOON CHECK-IN!
