Internet speed 12.8 mbs on Sunday morning. Room very comfortable - had handicap bathroom- shower state of the art - first rate.|Breakfast-OK, not first cabin. Love the decor- stainless steel, sort of Nordic.|Staff very competent, pleasant.|Loved the outdoor eating patio. |Not so happy about HVAC controls. Wonder why hotels could never figure out the most important part of a stay- the cabin comfort. Get a Nest.|Very clean-spotless.|Good stay.

We travel often between southeastern PA to northern VT & stop in NY for an overnight stay after working that day. We have stayed at various locations in Clifton Park in the past - but this location is now our new favorite (it is definitely worth driving a bit farther to stay here)! We used the Marriott Bonvoy app for the first time and were able to check in & receive our mobile key which allowed us access to the building & our room without stopping at the front desk. We were very pleased with the cleanliness & new appearance (built in 2019). It is conveniently located right next to the highway - but very quiet for sleeping. The free breakfast was delicious with multiple food & drink options set up in a very clean & appealing format. There are generous options for seating at the breakfast buffet. All staff that we encountered were pleasant & friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Let’s start with the good: |1) This property was exceptionally clean. Everything from the rooms to the lobby was immaculate. |2) Easy and quick on and off from I-87. ||Now onto the not-so-great:|We paid over $300/night for this property since it was August in Upstate NY. We stayed here for a single night on a road trip. I didn’t want to pay this much, but it isn’t far from Lake George, so I knew we’d be stuck paying through the nose.|Despite the premium charged, the breakfast was the same basic Fairfield Inn breakfast you’d find anywhere. There were no upgrades, which I’ve seen (for instance) at Residence Inn properties at the Delaware beaches and in Manhattan. Not a thing was upscale about it. The tables and floors were dirty, which I wrote off to it being a Saturday morning. People can be messy. When requested, one of the men working there apologized and was happy to clean the table with disinfectant when asked.|What I cannot forgive was the fact that there were no ready-to-go gluten-free options. Upon request, one of the men opened a freezer and took out a couple of Udi’s boxes. After waiting a few minutes, he came out of the kitchen with two pieces of bread. Since I asked his colleague if there were gluten-free options, I spoke up and asked, “Is that gluten-free?” He gruffly shoved a plate with two pieces of frozen bread at me and walked away. (He’d already been rude earlier when he overheard me asking my husband to open a package for me. He grabbed it out of my hand, opened it, and shoved it back at me wordlessly.) |What am I supposed to do with frozen bread?! I cannot put it in a regular toaster due to cross contamination.|I reported this to the front desk upon checkout and they seemed unsure of how to fix this for other patrons. I suggested they have Udi’s GF bagels thawed ahead of time. Otherwise, have a dedicated GF toaster in the kitchen. This isn’t that hard.||Bottom line: You don’t get what you pay for if you are GF.

Overall good experience with friendly service and comfy and clean accommodations. The building is modern and looks new, and the breakfast spread is stellar with multiple helpful attendants. The location is near Six Flags, Lake George, and cute small towns with local diners and breweries. The only con is that the pool and hot tubs are small, so there’s not really room for more than 2-3 families to use it at a time. Due to the proximity to Six Flags, there are usually a lot of kids running around which you can hear even from inside your room. Great for families and vacationers, but not for business travelers.

The modern amenities, pristine rooms, delicious breakfast, and prime location make it a top-notch hotel. I highly recommend it and look forward to staying here again on future trips!

Positive: Brand new hotel, very clear. Easy on/off the highway. Good room for the rate. The free breakfast was solid, they had a waffle maker, eggs, sausage. Free parking right out front. Negative: ""

Except for the breakfast and the cleanliness of some of the rugs, it was an overall great experience. I'd suggest at least adding scrambled eggs to every breakfast, the wraps and egg sandwiches were not so good. Also, pool and Jacuzzi are smaller than they appear in the picture

This is a great hotel in a fantastic location. This hotel has a great pool and hottub. They also serve complimentary breakfast with waffles, and many other items. It is also fantastic because this hotel is located conveniently within 10 minutes from Six Flags Great Escape, a fantastic theme park!
