Fairfield Inn & Suites Oskaloosa - Featured Reviews (134)
This Hotel is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at. The staff was very nice. The room was big and had a lot of space for a suite. The breakfast was really good for a hotel one and was better than the Hilton Breakfast and about on par with Holdiay Inn Express Breakfast. Hotels is modern and fresh and has a really nice interior design to it. And although I did not use it, the TV does come with streaming services built into the TV so you can just sign in and watch. Beds were comfy and the other amenities were nice as well. Overall I reccomend staying here.
My first time staying here. Nice clean place great location. Stephanie The lady that checked me in was awesome. Kind and courteous and gave me the best goodie bag out of every Marriott I've ever stayed in. I'd recommend this hotel.
NOTICE - I DIDNT STAY HERE! What I did do was call and ask if they allowed pets, to which I was told no. I followed up with asking if they could direct mne to a different hotel in Oskaloosa that did allow pets they did not hesitate to accomidate. Much respect for letting me know! Saved me a grip of time!
My family experienced a house fire that displaced us into the care of this hotel, our insurance placed us with Fairfield Inn and the hotel is beautiful and clean. The staff is friendly, and there was only one with whom we had a misunderstanding all it took was asking some questions and communicating it was resolved effortlessly and we are back to being comfortable. Most of the staff have gone above what was expected they accommodated where they could. Our room was refreshed every 3rd day and fully cleaned once every week. I have been enjoying the breakfast every morning and because of how they cook the bacon I've learned I'm able to eat it, so I've asked one of the breakfast attendants how they cook it and she was happy to tell me so I'm excited to have my bacon back when I get home. I've also been enjoying the fitness room and even though the pool is on the smaller side I do like the fact that I can enjoy a nice cool pool right after a workout. My favorite morning person is Stephanie she always greets me with a warm good morning and is always ready to help me when I need something. Brianne is my favorite evening person she always comes to work with a warm and positive attitude and seems genuinely happy to see me which is nice. Bryna is the breakfast attendant who told me how I can enjoy bacon again and we have enjoyed a few conversations, Esti is another breakfast attendant I enjoyed talking to, she is very friendly and fun to be around it is nice to not feel alone when my mom is off at work and I'm having breakfast alone even if Esti is only able to talk for a couple of moments in between tasks it does mean a lot. Kim the manager here has been nice as well when I asked for a folder to put loose papers in she gave me one of her office folders so I didn't feel like I was going to lose the many papers I was accumulating trying to find an apartment or house to live in. Everyone in this hotel has been so helpful and friendly it is greatly appreciated especially during such a stressful and traumatic time in my life.
I was stranded in town due to my work vehicle breaking down. Not only was the hotel itself very nice the staff went above and beyond for me. The night hostess, Brianne was super friendly and provided me with all the toiletries I didn't have. Also made recommended on food! Then in the morning, Krystal and her team let me stay until the mechanic was sure they could work on my van. Which was well past the check out time so that I wasn't even more stranded. THEN when I needed to make the trip to the mechanic (due to no ubers or taxis in town) the maintenance guy, Alex, gave me a ride so I didn't have to walk 30 minutes in the snow! I am never staying at another hotel chain again if the staff are all like these great people! Also, rooms were neat, clean, comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious!
it is a really nice friendly hotel, teams working their really good, delicious breakfast, change style every morning. I really like this hotel!
We stayed two nights and our daughter’s family stayed one night in the commodious Fairfield Inn in Osky. One sibling and five of our cousins and their spouses also spent a few nights there; we were all attending my mother’s 100th birthday celebration. The room was clean and pleasingly designed, from the cloudlike bed to the minimalist shower. We plan to renovate our bathrooms and have similar showers installed with round shower heads. One cousin’s wife stated she slept better than at home in the Twin Cities. A large group of us met for breakfast and a smaller group hung out in the seating area in the entry. Our granddaughter and son in law enjoyed the pool immensely.
Make sure you get down to Breakfast before 9AM because they pack everything up and close down at 9Am even though the breakfast sign in the lobby very clearly says it closes at 9:30AM. Very disappointing.
