Fairfield Inn & Suites North Bergen - Hotel in North Bergen - 1707 69th St, USA

This was our second time staying at Fairfield Inn & Suites in the last year. We are new cruisers & utilized their Cruise Package that allows us to stay the night before departure, provides a shuttle to and from the cruise terminal & allows us to park our car at the hotel for up to 10 days. We’ve had two WONDERFUL experiences with this package. Everything regarding the cruise package is ran like a well oiled machine down to the shuttle drivers. I love how organized they were which provided me with a lot of peace of mind. The shuttles drivers really know how to navigate NYC traffic & I appreciate them for doing so because I absolutely could not! The hotel is clean & the staff is incredibly friendly. Our room was perfect & we even had a view! It’s in a pretty great location aside from there being a ton of one way streets which makes it a little hard to navigate when driving. We will absolutely be staying here every time we cruise (which will be very often if I have my way). I highly recommend this hotel for anyone cruising out of the Manhattan terminal.

This is a long over due review, but I copied and pasted what I sent to my insurance company this past winter. I DO NOT recommend staying here if you need to use their shuttle service. “I stayed at the Fairfield Inn and Suites for one night and paid for a package including parking for my car for the duration of my trip, and a shuttle to and from the cruise port terminal. I had a guaranteed reservation for myself and two others in my party to be picked up from the cruise terminal at 9:45AM. We arrived to the pickup location given which was Pier 90 spot # 29 at 9:30AM. 9:45AM came and went and no shuttle had arrived.. at 10AM we called the hotel as did many others waiting to be picked up by this shuttle. we were told the shuttle was 10-15 minutes out. We kept waiting and many more phone calls were placed. We were all told different times and that the shuttle was on its way. The shuttle didn't arrive until almost 11AM. We waited outside in the cold for over an hour in a half along with other families waiting for the shuttle. We paid for this service and for a reserved time at 9:45AM. This also caused us to be much later getting home and had to cancel work appointments because we did not arrive home at the expected time due to an extremely late shuttle. There was no apology from the hotel even with several families complaining and services not being met. I feel that since we paid for 3 people to receive shuttle services, and services at 9:45AM and services were not met, we should be entitled to a partial refund but the hotel refused. The wait was ridiculous and hotel staff was very unaccommodating well we had no choice but to stand outside in the cold for an hour in a half.”

We had a fantastic overnight stay and then we used their parking package to leave our vehicle at the hotel and shuttle to the Manhattan Cruise Port for our cruise. The staff were super friendly, our vehicle was locked up tight in their secure garage and the shuttles worked perfectly. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was good. Would 100% recommend if cruising out of Manhattan.

Even though hotel has some kind of funky smelling, the breakfast service was great with very well-seasoned eggs and bacon. Also comes with chocolate milk and yogurts. Staffs even refill slightly after 9:30 ending time for late comers. Soap was great and shower is has been nicely refurbished. Overall, great hotel and stuff, but room carpet should be updated.

We were on our way to the hotel, and my husband was checking the email of the reservation and was surprised that it was not there (maybe we missed that). We shocked how it happened 😕. But then we booked online, but check-in time shows the next day. We decided to go there and talked to the person who was at the reception, she was so nice and caring she welcomed us and gave the room after the formalities. Really, she saved us on that day. Thanks to the Fairfield Inn and Suites and hotel team. I really appreciate them. Highly recommend 👌.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this property. Everything was wonderful. The staff has always gone above and beyond to provide 1st quality customer service. Gianna and Tyler were fabulous. My family will not stay anywhere else when we are in the area or traveling on a cruise out of NY. The rooms are clean and quiet and the free breakfast is a bonus.

We stayed 4 days with 3 people and had one of the worst experiences with this hotel. The trouble began with our check-in, besides one receptionist barely anyone from the staff spoke english. The majority of staff only speak Spanish. We waited over 20min for a receptionist to show up during the middle of the day, our check in was supposed to be available from 3pm onwards. After arriving in a room that was mostly clean (sofa was stained and smelly). We asked at the reception for a cover or blanket so we didn’t have to sit on a dirty sofa - it took housekeeping 2 days to bring this so we basically were sitting on the floor/ bed for the time. Housekeeping has to be requested; there is no daily service if u do not ask for it - which is mind blowing to me since there is a lot of staff walking around chatting to each other. We decided to go out to checkout the area - we asked for any recommendations or directions and got handed a map with things nearby. There are a few shops close by and a supermarket but apart from that nothing much too see. We booked our stay with a breakfast which is ok, there was an assortment of food choices (nothing freshly made only warmed up food). Milk, orange juice and coffee was included. I will definitely not come back to this hotel and I honestly expected way more for the money we paid as well as the experience I made in other Marriot hotels — I do NOT recommend a stay here unless you have to.

Les chambres sont spacieuses et propres, les lits grands et confortables, le petit déjeuner gratuit est correct.||L'hôtel est proche de la station de bus 127 pour arriver à Time Square en 30 minutes et très bon point, le parking est gratuit pendant tout le séjour.||Target et Walmart à quelques kilomètres.||Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans l'ensemble.||Le personnel de l'hôtel a été très serviable, nous avions besoin d'une chambre supplémentaire pour 2 nuits pour des proches à la dernière minute, ils nous ont donné un tarif mais nous ont recommandé de prendre la chambre directement sur Internet et le site Web de Marriott pour obtenir des tarifs plus avantageux, ce qui au final était vrai.||La partie négative serait l’insonorisation de la chambre avec le bruit de la route (voitures, ambulances la nuit).||C'est un très bon hôtel pour les personnes qui viennent à New York en voiture, mais qui ne veulent pas avoir à payer 50 USD/jour de frais de stationnement car il n'est qu'à 30 minutes de Time Square en bus.||Pour notre séjour de 8 nuits d'un groupe de 8 personnes, nous avions toujours un siège dans le bus.|4 USD par trajet adulte ou 34 USD pour 10 trajets, 3,50 USD pour un trajet AR enfant via l’app NJ Transit sur Google Store, l’application dans AppStore n’est pas disponible si le compte Apple est rattaché à l’AppStore FR.
