Location was within walking distance of almost everything. The hotel was just starting a renovation which made using elevators an issue but it’s needed. The staff was great especially Jeaux and Tiara at the front desk. They were very friendly and helpful while we were there. The breakfast area was clean and breakfast was good.

First thing first the young lady Jo who works the front desk has the most remarkable customer service skills ever she was so sweet, kind and patient. The rooms were clean and the hotel itself was really nice. Only reason why I gave service three stars is because I had a horrible encounter with one of the ladies who worked the breakfast counter, she was extremely rude and accused me of stealing breakfast food from a complementary breakfast, like who takes a vacation somewhere pays almost 250 at night with parking included to steal complementary breakfast when I went to the front desk and asked to speak to the manager instead of the manager coming out to greet me. She had me walk in to her office while she sat down and took my complaint. That incident ruined most of the experience for me not what I expect from a Marriott hotel

I travel for work and have been to a lot of Fairfield Hotels and this one is what I would say, below average. Staff is below average - I spoke with one kind gentleman the entire time. The rest of the staff could care less. Im currently gold tier and crossing my fingers for a "complementary upgrade" from my booked King room but I received a down grade with two queens. I didn't even bother to ask why it was changed because there was attitude as soon as I walked in. Breakfast was average. Location was great, room was great, housekeeping was fantastic. I parking at a nearby parking garage for $30 a night and would recommend doing that. I wouldn't stay here again.

We booked the package that included the valet parking, which was perfect for exploring New Orleans in a couple day. In Detail: We got a double queen bed with valet parking with grap&go breakfast. The room is not that big but good enough space for very full double firm queen beds. I did request lots of pillows, and I arrived, I got 10 pillows (we loved it/thank you so so much). They also upgraded grap and go breakfast to dine-in. The breakfast was good. Not lots of options, but we couldn't complain. We also asked for a late check out, and they gave us until 2 pm.(Very generous). Note: Their valet parking is so smooth. Just let them know about 20 mins before your trip, and they will organize as soon as they can in front of the hotel. Thank you, all the professional staff, for your best services. We will definitely be back.

We had a great stay at this hotel, the staff on reception especially the young man who greeted us most days we were there was always smiling, he was also very helpful whenever we needed to know anything. The room was big looked like a small apartment with a seating area, kitchen area etc which was a surprise 618. Breakfast was impressive so much choice. This hotel is in a good position you can walk everywhere from it.

I’m here now, Location is Great for walking distance to locations! Hotel was clean, need some small renovations but otherwise comfortable. My biggest disappointment is THE BAR AREA IS CLOSED! In research of this hotel advertise bar lounge. After speaking with front desk personnel states, “BAR CLOSED SINCE COVID 2020” then why in hell is it still advertised??!!. This is FALSE ADVERTISEMENT

The hotel appears to either have been recently remodeled or is new. I am not sure about the reviews complaining it is outdated. But, outside noise may well make it hard to sleep. I was on the street side and see other reviews about the alley side that say the same: The windows are single paned and this is a loud city. On the fourth floor I can hear concerts, street rowdiness, cars, trucks and sirens late late into the night. I turned on the fan overnight and made do with that as a white noise machine. That said, it must be worse for hotels closer to Canal or Bourbon Street. There is a VERY good restaurant called Copper Vine just a few blocks away.

I like to stay at the FFI when I vacation as it is a reliable, solid choice. This time it was just a place to sleep. My biggest complaint was that the AC was out for TWO DAYS when we were there and no one told us or offered anything for the inconvenience. We told the desk that the room was 75 degrees and that’s when they told us it was out. We saw a pile of fans in boxes in the office but she said it would be fixed by the end of the day. It wasn’t. Btw, I’m a gold elite. No upgrade offered at check in, no compensation for 2 days of no AC. Breakfast was just okay, same 3 hot dishes all 5 days. I picked up an orange and it broke in half, rotten. Beds were comfortable, had daily housekeeping, and a short walk to Bourbon Street. Walls are paper thin, you hear everything in the next room. One staff member was kind, the rest were indifferent or rude. OH, don’t think you’re going to enjoy a drink at the nice bar, it’s permanently closed, which you don’t know until you get there. There is an ALOFT close by, maybe try there instead.
