Fairfield Inn & Suites Mobile Saraland - Featured Reviews (560)
Staff were friendly and helpful. When we had cockroaches in our first room they quickly gave us another. However, this room smelled like stale cigarettes. They then moved us to another room which was better. At least we didn’t have unwanted guests. The bathrooms need to have the grout replaced as mold was on the worn deteriorating grout.
I had the pleasure to stay at this location on August 14. I stayed for a single night. The purpose of the stay was a layover on a road trip. Perfect location to a layover. Plenty of places to eat near by and hotel is in a safe area. Room and Service were GREAT. I’ve seen some negative reviews for this location, but opted to take a shot. I did not experience any issues noted by the minority of reviewers. Plan to stay here again when passing through.
I have friends who heard and read horrible things about this hotel. Boy, were they misinformed. From the. Cleanliness to the hospitality all awesome. Tiffany checked us in and she was very, very nice. Worked til late that night then back bright and early and happy. That is what hospitality is all about. I am in the industry and I know how hard it is especially during the holidays. Tiffany, thank you. BTW this will be our hotel of choice going forward!!!
I stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Mobile Saraland on January 19, 2024, and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. Here are the key points:||1. Room Condition:| - Upon entering my room, I noticed soiled sheets and hair in the shower and on the bathroom floor. This was unacceptable and did not meet the standards I expected from a Marriott property.| - Despite reporting the issue, I was not offered another room or immediate cleaning, which is contrary to Marriott's policy.||2. Manager's Response:| - I was informed that the manager would address the situation once they were available. However, I was heading to a cruise the next day and couldn't wait around for their availability.| - Three weeks passed without any contact from the manager, which was disappointing.||3. Contact with Manager Theresa:| - Finally, after three weeks, I was contacted by Manager Theresa. She explained that she had been out due to Covid-19.| - Theresa promised me points and a refund as compensation for the inconvenience caused by the room condition.||4. Unfulfilled Promises:| - Unfortunately, I received only 1500 points and no refund, despite being assured otherwise.| - Every time I tried to reach out to the manager, I was told she was in a meeting or unavailable, and she never returned my calls.||5. Corporate Escalation:| - Frustrated by the lack of resolution, I escalated the issue to the corporate level, initiating case number 555484293.| - However, I learned that because I used a friends and family discount to book, the matter could only be resolved through me and the property.||6. Final Decision:| - Manager Theresa has now decided not to compensate me, despite her initial promise.| - While I understand the room was discounted, as a paying guest, I believe I deserve a clean and comfortable room, regardless of the rate.||Conclusion:|My stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Mobile Saraland fell short of expectations due to cleanliness issues and unfulfilled promises. As a guest, I hope for better experiences in the future, regardless of the booking method.
This Fairfield Inn & Suites is my go to hotel when working in Mobile. Location is ideal with plenty of nearby restaurants and Mobile is a few miles south. I find its clientele during the week are there for the same reason as I. It’s not noisy despite being adjacent to a brand new, safe QT truck stop. I was concerned initially about that neighboring business, but I’ve honestly noticed no impact on my visits. The linens and towels are good and the carpet is clean. The lobby is well maintained and the staff are welcoming. Breakfast is the standard Fairfield Inn fare and the lovely lady who works it is super friendly and refills food promptly as many of the hotel’s clientele depart early. There is a TownePlace Inn & Suites beside it, so for Marriott folks you have an extended stay choice, too. Easy access to downtown Mobile. No longer than 15 minutes and all on Interstate.
Positive: Room and bathroom was clean. The breakfast host was very nice Negative: Beds were ok not the best. Continental. Breakfast was lacking but the host was great. Negative: ""
Tiffany and Brook were friendly funny and helpful during my one week vacay here! Ms Vickie in dining room for breakfast was talkative friendly and motherly to everyone and the Waffle mix n bacon was great to have everyday. i enjoy staying here and so did my family
My husband had a doctors appointment in Saraland today so, we drove over from Pass Christian, MS yesterday and spent the night as to not be in a rush this morning. Tiffany checked us in and she was very polite. Later as we were going to dinner Tiffany and Shalonda were very helpful when we asked for advice on restaurants. Shalonda was also kind enough to look to see if there was a fan we could use in our room. This morning while eating breakfast, we met Ms. Vicky and chatted with her for a few minutes. As we were leaving, I guess she saw us and yelled “bye y’all” and waved at us from the door. She was very friendly. As soon as we sat down in the waiting room of the doctors office, Brooke called from the hotel to let us know that my husband had left his medication in the refrigerator in the room. She offered to keep it refrigerated until we finished the appointment and could come back to pick it up. Every single employee that we encountered on our short stay was very attentive and friendly. If we ever have to go back to or through Saraland again, we will definitely be staying at the Fairfield Inn and Suites again. It was a great stay!

The manager has a heart of gold and the staff are amazing! We had stayed 5 days and were taken well care of. Going above and beyond is one thing but the staff knew our situation and why we were there for our loved one and made our stay stress free. T
Great hotel & location. Clean room and comfy beds! Felt like a safe area. Friendly staff and the best free hotel breakfast weâve ever had - so many great choices!! Is at a pretty busy intersection though, which is convenient but if you are a light
The staff was very professional and kind. We felt like we were family. Our grandson left his silver necklace there - we had not yet realized that we left it - and they called to tell us they had it at the front desk. We were able to pick it up on our
A small, cozy local coffee house with plenty of brews and a small but solid selection of croissants and paninis. Excellent to sit down and chill, or if you're in a rush, you can take the drive-thru.
Went to a car show in Saraland and decided o stop in, haven't had a Blizzard in a long time, got the Oreo Blizzard, and it was awesome. Didn't get the young man's name that prepared it but he was an expert. Very good and scratched an itch I have had
Was greeted with a very warm welcome and smile. With my first bite, I felt as if I was sitting in my grandmother's kitchen eating a truly home cooked meal. The options were tremendous. The corn reminded me of fresh from the garden to take sweet corn,
The best tacos ever. I had the belly of the beast and the black jack. Oh! They were so good!! And I loved the quite environment. Savannah was awesome too. Overall, great experience. We will definitely be back.
