This morning, Sept 1, 24 even though I had my placard on door handle in hallway please do not disturb and at 10:25am, house keeping pounding on door like it is an emergency to come in and clean room. Check out is 11am. Then at 10:40am. Front desk calling to see if I’m leaving room. I said, check out is 11am right ? She says yes, I told her nothing like being pushed out of room and told them I was packing and be out shortly.

I had a WONDERFUL experience at Fairfield Inn Menifee! I'll start with the staff because they were excellent! They were respectful, delightful to interact with and kind! A young woman, Erica I believe, was so considerate and kind very caring! She must wear a couple hats on the staff because she was super good both at the desk and in the dining area.. Hugs back to you! Another older gentleman around my age (70+) shared his amazing experience playing Ball with a big name Baseball team in the 70's! We enjoyed a great moment of conversation. And he helped me with the faucet in the shower, I was the problem lol he showed me what I was doing wrong. I definitely enjoyed every encounter with the staff who were always helpful! A matter arose about the number of days for which my stay was booked. I am embarrassed to say I made an accusation to a very nice manager about making a mistake. A mistake was made, and they graciously made that right which I was thankful for. Upon reflection I could see why the mistake was made. My stay was during the internet interruption /Airport shut done crisis in July '24. My apologies to Frankie and George for being less than the best guest. Y'all were the Best! Rooms were good nice views.The mattresses were fantastic! Bathroom top notch. View super great! Location perfect, near elevator as requested when booking! Got there late, and had Frankie check me in before midnight really cool dude this hotel I would definitely come back here again I had been on the long road trip me and my girls eyes were heavy and this place really brought us back to life. Frankie good job holding it down for a Marriott~ It's nice to see good manners and hospitality still thrives~

This hotel is the only major chain hotel in Menifee, California. As such, it has a captive audience.|The hotel itself is fairly new and centrally located. Many stores and restaurants are within walking distance. It is off the beaten path and pretty quiet. We chose the top floor.|When we checked in, the front staff was super friendly and quite accommodating. Our room was clean and quiet. It has surge pricing and we stayed five nights-a long time.|Wednesday and Thursday nights were very reasonable-$112.00 @ night. Friday night was $296.00 and Saturday night was $314.00! That's a lot of money to pay for a hotel room. And, they charge you $14.00 @ day for parking! Now this is just an open parking lot, no guard, no gate, nothing. Talk about a rip off.|Breakfast was awesome-honestly. They had freshly cooked eggs every day with bacon or sausage. Waffles. Yogurt. Toast. Muffins. Potatoes. Juice and more. Really good.|Now the bad news...when we woke up Thursday morning, our room was crawling with ants! There were ants at the window, around the door, on the ceilings-everywhere!! Immediately I went to the front desk. They apologized (sort of) but told me the hotel was sold out and there were no more rooms. Had there been another hotel in Menifee, I would have checked out, not paid and been happier.|Since we had no options, we elected to stay. The maintenance man actually came to our room immediately. He had bug spray and I showed him the ants. He agreed to spray after we left the room. The front desk also agree to completely clean the room after it was sprayed, which they did.|After all that, I spoke with George, the General Manager. He apologized profusely and agree to take 50% off our most expensive night. This was fair, in our opinion.|Now the ants stayed away until the morning we checked out. Then they were back with a vengeance. As we were checking out, we just left it at that.

The Hotel itself is nice and well equipped, the staff on the other hand is a joke. There were dogs in the room adjacent to mine that would not quiet down(constant howling) forcing me to check out early. Both the person at the front desk(David Bonds) and the general manager(George Flores) who acknowledged the problem were zero help. Refused to issue me a partial credit for my room and said there would be be early check out fee. What a joke.

I have stayed here on several occasions and never had a reason to complain. However, this visit is an exception. I have an "ant problem" in rm201. I notified the front desk early this am. Was told by the man that he was aware of ant problem and he made a note to fix it. It is now 8:06pm and the "ant problem" has gotten worse. Will have to think again before I stay here in future.

This is the first time we held our annual Positioned to Be Blessed Women’s Conference at this hotel. The conference room is spacious, beautiful and very clean. The General Manager, George and his staff went above and beyond the call of duty to accommodate our every need. We couldn’t be happier with the decor and the amenities and we plan to book next year’s event at this hotel. The hotel exceeded expectations and we highly recommend this venue for your event. Just don’t. Floors in our room were dirty with food debris on the carpet and food from previous guest left in the fridge. There was a dirty facecloth from a previous guest on the floor, under the counter of the bathroom. The room has a very, very strong musty/moldy smell.|The workout room is terrible. Floors outside the pool and workout area looked like they were mopped with dirty water. We stopped here for the pool but we didn’t use it. Based on the overall cleanliness of the hotel we did not feel safe that the pool was well maintained.|To top it all off, after we returned from getting a bite to eat just before 11pm there was a guy tuning up his guitar in the lobby. I looked for a staff member to report my concerns about the room, but they were sitting listening to this guy tune his guitar. An unsettling experience all around. If we hadn’t travelled 12+ hours we would taken our things back out of the room and left.|Front reception unavailable to report concerns and the website does not offer an email to contact management so no resolution to any of our issues.
