Overall the hotel is pretty dirty and our room had trash from previous residents that calls into question how well it’s been cleaned before our stay. The fitted sheets were terrible and would not stay on overnight and despite a sign saying to put your towels by the door to be replaced the next day we never got new towels and had to request them as we’d already put them on the (questionably cleaned) floor. All of the staff that were available were very friendly and helpful so that was not an issue, however the hotel management needs to rethink their approach to the cleanliness and daily procedures
It advertises that it has a pool. It does not. We stayed here a couple of years ago and the pool was broken. Website stated it had a working pool, but it was apparently never fixed. Internet was spotty too. You can easily hear what is going on in surrounding rooms.
We booked this hotel for 4 nights and if i hadnt paid in full up front, we would have only stayed the first night...1st off only 1 elevator is in use when there are two. We were on the 3rd floor, so when u get off the elevator the AC wasn't working so the hallway was hot and this is July mind you. There is only 1 overhead light in the room and it was not working. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom so when u get out of the shower it takes 20 minutes at least before the AC in the room can get in there and remove the steam. The pool was not working do to "maintenance issues" they said so again this is July mind you and a HUGE reason we booked this hotel was to be able to have a pool. The bed sucked, and don't get me started on the pillows. You could see the filth on the baseboards, and you DID NOT WANT TO SIT ON THE COUCH DISGUSTING!!!! DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.
We stayed at this Hotel two months ago. Around father day I realized that we left a luggage at the hotel. I called The Hotel to see if our luggage was still there which it was. I over night the label the hotel. I had spoken with manager. Ask her once she received the label. All she needed to do is to ask the mailing company to wait so she can put the label on our package and the package can be delivered to us. It’s now 7/10/24. And we have not received our package yet. I will not stay at this location again.
Unfortunately, this weekend wasn't the best experience. My family has been planning a family reunion for the last 18 months- with the former management/event coordinator, we were promised a meeting space with 25 booked rooms. Although we asked several times for a contract or confirmation in writing, we were met with "It's ok, we have you covered." Fast forward to a new management- the new lady Allison was not at all accommodating nor willing to hear us out regarding the meeting space we were requesting for Friday evening. She told us $350 per day.. Fine, we ended up paying that, but on Friday, we not only had to set up the room, we had to clean and sanitize it as well. This space was clearly a former guest room, but it was soooo nasty!
Aside from that, the pool was inoperable, the ice maker on the 2nd floor was broken, and overall cleanliness is lacking. We will never use this hotel again.. Not worth the money!
Our door was coming off the hinges. It closed, and we were safe, just took away from the room. The front desk was nice and she did offer to change our room. We will use this location next time in town.
Hôtel très confortable. Accueil extrêmement aimable. Merci de nous avoir recommandé le lake o pines pour aller nager. Merci également pour le surclassement en suite.
Privilégier une chambre sur l’arrière.
Very nice Fairfield. Excellent customer service from check-in to check out. Staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. Nice, clean, and well-maintained facility. Rooms were very comfortable. Due to ongoing road construction on highway 59 North at the exit off I 20 watch for the road to this Fairfield, left turn. Not an issue, just watch for it. Just after the exit going west or across the bridge if heading east on I 20.
It's on old style Hampton and I love the new ones, but you know what - it's clean and the coffee was good, and the breakfast was fine, so I would stay there again.
Very nice gem of Texas history. Our guide was very knowledgeable and answer all of our questions. They have amazing pieces (antiques) that bring you back to the 1800 and how life and customs were at that time. They have a family fee which is great w
