Overall great stay. Great location, in walking distance of multiple restaurants. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was wonderful in the morning. Very clean upon arrival and the room was clean as well. No issues during our stay. Overall would stay again.
We spent three nights at this Fairfield while in town for our niece's wedding. Upon arrival, I started coughing while checking in. My spouse and I noticed a fragrance from the carpet, which still smelled like mildew. We were assigned room 322. That room had a heavy mildew smell and we discovered black mold in the bathroom. This kicked off a heavy asthma attack. Melony, the front desk clerk, immediately came to the room and moved us to nearby room 312. At her request, I emailed photos of the black mold and a severely broken lamp from the room. Due to my complaint, the manager approved extra Bonvoy points for me. ||Room 312 was also in disrepair. Less mildewy, but the sinks were very slow to drain, the bottom dresser drawer refused to close and the toilet seat was loose. We had to request toilet paper and additional towels from the front desk (instead of housekeeping replacing them when needed). ||The covered drive through in front of the lobby was blocked by numerous motorcycles. This meant unloading our car in the rain. ||The worst was the lobby. I couldn't have breakfast with my in-laws, nor socialize in the evening, due to my allergy to the carpet smell. EVERY time I walked through there, a coughing fit would ensue after about 60 seconds there. ||The hotel itself is in poor shape. Melony told me they are planning a remodel soon, but it's not soon enough to warrant a return visit. Nor will the bonus reward points persuade me to return there.
Rooms were very clean. Staff was very friendly especially Twala who went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed for my stay. I had a great stay!! Would definitely recommend!!!
I will preface this by saying the hotel staff are one of the friendliest I’ve encountered in a while and did everything they could to make my room “better”. ||With that said, this place is pretty gross! Stains on carpet and bedding, walls beat up, cracks on tiles. The floors feel sticky that I put down blankets everywhere. They did have the cleaning staff redo my floors, however the cracks and edges are still covered in grime. ||I am Marriott Titanium Elite and travel frequently and this is the worst Marriott I think I have ever encountered. I was here for 7 nights and looked at other options, but this was the closet Marriott to where I needed to be for work and I didn’t want to switch brands.||I feel bad for the staff that gets the complaints since this really falls on the management company/owners. Shame on them for not updating this place. I bet the Super 8 is nicer. The Comfort Suites is newly remodeled. I suggest staying there or beware.
Place looks to be straight out the 50s, doesn't look any better than a roadside motel. Seriously needs to be renovated. For the price youd expect a modern hotel; nope not here. Place also had ants everywhere. Not just the rooms, but common areas, pool, etc. TVs didn't work (staff even was aware of this, they informed me before I checked in). The only good thing was the staff. Very friendly and helpful. Marriott as a brand has gone seriously downhill since the pandemic, and this is yet one more example of such.
The room had cockroaches, we never got housekeeping. We were taking out the trash ourselves. There were no pillows, nor blankets for the sofa bed. The room was hot, the a/c did not seem to be working. We were sweating on the bed. One night we were being social in the common room downstairs and the GM at that time, Mrs. Kayla Vaught, was very very rude, came screaming! at us, ordering! us to go upstairs, that we cannot be downstairs anymore. Not a way that we expected to be treated at a Marriott resort. Next time we go again to the US, we definitely will not consider Fairfield Inn at all, and for surely will think thoroughly before considering a Marriott resort.
Hotel was right off the highway which was convenient to stop on our way through. The lobby has been renovated and looked nice. The rooms are in desparate need of renovation. The room smelled musty, had lampshades hanging, broken door handles and the tub looked very dirty. Was definitely not worth nearly $250 or what is expected from the Marriott brand. Would not recommend.
I stay here often for work and it’s a disgrace to Marriott chain. The only reason I’m giving it 2 stars is because of the really really nice staff. The staff make up partially for the poor quality of the rooms. The TVs almost never work. I’ve seen spiders in my bathroom on multiple DIFFERENT occasions staying here. The room fridge has a funny unpleasant smell. The sinks and or tubs don’t drain well. Half the time your key card doesn’t work. One time I stayed here and the elevator wasn’t working the entire time. It’s a mess and really is in need of a serious update.
I LOVED my stay here. I work at a hotel, and enjoy getting to be a guest every once in a while, and you guys knocked it out of the park! Check in was very quick, and Devon (I think was his name? Sorry I didn't get it!) made the whole process go smoot
I was refered to RTS Sports by Doug Phelps and glad I was. Michael greeted me as I walked in the door. He was polite and listened to my needs and concerns with the shoes issues I have faced recently. We analyzed my feet and went from there to picking
A really cool spot to hangout, a great ending to my girls night out! The bar tender was attentive and the atmosphere is welcoming. Tried a new beer as well, as the bartender said "It's like a Blue Moon but better", I'm converted, haha. Really great p
Lots of creative and delicious treats. Cupcakes, cookies, macaroons and more. A little on the pricey side, but worth it. Especially the Espresso Macaroons. It was really nice inside, but a little crowded around lunchtime.
Pretty holiday designed cake just as I ordered but sadly I wasn't given a plastic knife like all other customers who ordered cakes. Oh well next time. The cake is well worth it. I've been buying Larry's cakes for many years and have never been disapp
BEST LITTLE RESCUE EVER! I have adopted 2 dogs from them and it was such an easy, smooth process. Plus they get to visit with them at yearly vaccination time.
For the most part, I enjoyed walking around. I am looking at different things. I will say that there are multiple individuals that have stuff for sale there, so they have little areas to put their stuff. I'll also say that some people have their stuf
This is the best version of local Mexican food I've found. The food is consistently good, the service is top notch and the staff is super nice. Thank you for having a great place!
Love this place for lunch. They have a buffet, it always has a nice variety of food. My favorite is the fried chicken, mashed potatoes, creamed corn and brown gravy. The service here is top notch and the food is always prepared amazing.
