Fairfield Inn & Suites Loveland Fort Collins - Hotel in Loveland - 1710 Foxtrail Dr, USA

Like would have given a higher overall rating yet I witnessed an older customer have a serious issue with housekeeping . Essentially, the older gentleman left his room early and you return, his belongings were gone. It turns out as stated by the front desk hotel staff, that in lieu of the housekeepers finding items and turning them in (despite the customer had not checked out), the housekeeping staff took the items to their home. This included expensive prescription Maui Jim sunglasses etc. Hotel staff assured the guest that items were being returned as they spoke and the staff would be disciplined. I believe the staff, yet the housekeepers should have been fired and the police should have been called. As a customer, I'm relying on hotel employees to ensure our safety, belongings, and oversee that the guest doesn't have to worry about things like this.

This hotel was chosen because of its location which was the center of wedding functions. Our many family members stayed there as well. We had a great room, butt the best part was Brittney at the front desk in the evening. She was the most gracious, friendly, and personal front desk greeter we have experienced. She made my wife’s evening - not just once but every time we came in from a night of wedding revelry. She needs a raise so you don’t lose her!

I won’t stay with them…starting from being charged 12 dollars a night for parking and being told I was being put into the worst room and he feels bad putting me there?!? Who says that? Of course he couldn’t move me that night. It reeked of smoke and was loud. They did move me to the another room for my second night but the air conditioner broke and they gave me a fan. They told me there were no rooms and maybe a maintenance guy could get there by 10pm. They claim they will comp me but said that not to be concerned if more charges were put on my card before they refunded. Yep no sense. I couldn’t check out fast enough.

Positive: Good location and breakfast staff was friendly Negative: Parking fee was not disclosed at check in (or on any signage) and they just quietly charged to my card on file at checkout. They never asked whether or not I parked a car, so they seem to just charge you for parking by default.

Wow, this place was disappointing. It started at check-in when it took 5+ minutes for the someone to show up to the desk. By that time, there were 4 different groups of guests waiting to check in. Then we got to our room. First thing I noticed was the smeared stain on the ceiling where it looked as if someone wiped their baby's diaper on the ceiling. Then one pillow was covered in what we assumed was make-up. A bit later my kid found a used Q-Tip on the floor next to the bed... The breakfast was okay. They had undrinkable coffee, egg sandwiches, scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereal, oatmeal, but no cut fruit... At checkout the desk clerk said they would get back to me abymy experience. I waited a day to post my review, but never heard anything.

I have no idea how this hotel got such great reviews. It was gross. I could upload pictures but don't want to spoil your day. The bathroom was just gross. It looked like it never got a deep clean, maybe thirty seconds each time it was cleaned. All of the corners had lots of hair, dust etc built up. The back of the door was dirty, the fan was super loud, the walls were dirty. Yuck. I showed management and haven't heard back. The pool was also being repaired. You can go next door and use their pool. Will never stay here again.

Check in was not super easy or quick despite doing the online check-in ahead of time. We were not aware there was a parking fee for this hotel, although we did create a Marriott Bonvoy account in order to get the free parking perk. Our room was a handicap accessible room, which I would not recommend or want to stay in again. It was on the main floor, and we did have upstairs neighbors stomping around quite a bit. The bathroom was less than ideal and had minimal counter space. I did not like the walk-in shower/bathroom combination. The tile and wall paper in the bathroom did not appear super clean or maintained. The door adjoining to the room next door had a huge gap at the bottom- we could see the light on underneath and felt that minimized privacy and comfort. There was also a light right above the window outside of our room that was on all night shining into our room even with the blinds closed. Overall we probably would not stay at this hotel again and definitely will be sure to avoid handicap accessible rooms in the future.

I travel to Loveland twice a month for work and this hotel has given me the best service by far! I have been to all the Marriott’s in the area and this one by far has the best management/employees. It also has an outstanding complimentary breakfast. I will be booking here for all future stays.
