Fairfield Inn & Suites Keene Downtown - Featured Reviews (359)
No parking. Limited elevator service. Not elderly , Mobility challenge, or handicapped individuals. You have to unload your car on the street on a cart that you have to push up a ramp that said about a 30° incline there is no automatic door when you get to the top of that ramp and if you manage to get the door open, you have to make a 90° turn to get into the area where the lobby is. then the parking garage is like two blocks away. And the desk told us to park on the top floor. So I struggled to get the luggage into the room. My wife went to park the car. What they didn’t tell her was there’s no elevator in the parking garage. My wife just had hip place and is using a cane and she had to walk down , four flights of stairs from the second floor down to the ground floor and then walk to the hotel that took her to a huge ramp so that she could enter the hotel property. and then I called Marriott international their customer service number. I was transferred to reservations, but had no idea I was talking to reservations and the gentleman there listen to everything I had to say and then said, sir this is reservations. You need to get a hold of the property manager there. We went back down to the desk, asked to speak to the manager and everybody just said we’re sorry we’re sorry we’re sorry and offered nothing else. so I guess I’ll try to get a hold of the property manager who probably will not return any calls because this has been one giant mess. If I had known what I know now I would not have come anywhere near this hotel. I did tell the reservation clerk on Marriott international telephone line that Marriott should take their name off of this hotel, and they should kick the property managers to the curb. We are elite members. We have state and Marriott from one corner of this nation to another and also internationally. This is the worst mess I’ve ever seen.
Just had a lovely two night stay here. Excellent location in downtown Keene, we had a perfect view of the downtown. Easily walkable to downtown bars, restaurants, shopping. Free parking in a municipal garage, we arrived early and hotel front desk staff member Mike gave us our parking pass so we could explore the downtown while our room was being readied. Our king room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. Good hot and cold breakfast items, simple but good. Friendly hotel staff.I am a Marriott bonvoy member and would definitely stay here again if ever back in the area.
The Fairfield Inn in Keene could not be a better location - it is very walkable to many restaurants and shops. Likewise, the staff was remarkably kind! ||Unfortunately, the hotel itself requires a bit of refreshing - peeling wallpaper, musty smell in the rooms, rusted bathrooms. I was in a King Suite, which was 2 levels with the bedroom on the 2nd floor, and found that the Air Conditioner did not cool the lofted 2nd level well. Overall, my stay was fine but would consider a different property for future stays.
What a hidden gem! Gorgeous suites, seriously one of the best Marriott location rooms I’ve stayed in. The overall ambiance, design, and decor in the hotel is also very attractive. Location is perfect, right in the town square surrounded by shops, restaurants, and attractions. The staff is very knowledgeable and super friendly. Breakfast was delicious and open later than most hotels. Would 100% recommend!
The place was super clean and modern inside. The rooms were large with comfortable beds. The breakfast was great with scambled eggs, bacon and sausage. Also cereal, bread, muffins, fruit and coffee
Be very careful in booking. I had to change a one night reservation, which I did by phone. When I arrived on the day I had booked I found I was booked for a different day. Without a confirmation of the change done by phone I had no documentation to clarify the mix up. Staff was polite, and found a motel outside of downtown, but was sure it was my error.
The room was below ground first of all. The AC unit was unbelievably LOUD, and sounded like a jet engine. Parking is way too far away for handicapped person including multiple stairs, hallways are dark and tight. Check in person looks seriously sloppy and unprofessional, free continental breakfast options were few. Never, ever again.
Right in the center of town. Room was very well kept and clean. Complimentary breakfast was good. Front desk was very helpful. Wi-Fi didn't work so well.
We had an amazing entertainment program by Jason Purdy for our son's 7th Birthday. It's one of the best experiences at kids' celebrations. Looking at happy, amazed and shining faces was a real pleasure. Our don that our son asks ro vook the show for
