We stayed one night on our road trip. The hotel was easy to get to. The room and bathroom were clean. The beds were comfortable. The digital key worked great. There are lots of food options nearby. I love being able to check in and out with ease on the app. We would stay here again.

VERY NICE!!! We especially liked the shower—no tub to climb in and out of. Very clean and modern. The breakfast was exceptional as well. Not only did they have the usual fare (waffles, scrambled eggs, bananas, etc.) but they had little quiches, very sweet fresh strawberries, egg and sausage sandwiches, bacon and homemade oatmeal—not in a packet. Also served fresh cream for the oatmeal and coffee. Bed was very comfortable with fluffy pillows that weren’t too big or small. And staff was friendly. Will be our go to place if we ever go through Kansas City again.

If you are looking for a hotel in the Kansas City metro: stay here. Don't waste your time with fancy, boutique hotels in downtown Kansas City. The Fairfield Inn & Suites is south of Kansas City and offered the perfect spot to stay the night but still be close to Kansas City. It's right off the interstate, so very convenient, and near to many restaurants, multiple Starbucks, a Target, HyVee, etc. My boyfriend and I had a late check-in and we were able to arrange this ahead of time with the hotel. Once we arrived, we were met with kindness by the front desk clerk after a long day of traveling. Check-in was easy and quick, and we were able to get to our very clean and modern room with ease. The lobby is super nice. Three elderly friends bought a bottle of wine from the front desk and were catching up in the lobby as we were checking in. The vibes were just right. The room was nice and compact. Sometimes you get hotel rooms that are just entirely too big. This room was just the right amount of cozy. The bed was nice, the carpet was clean, and the furnishings were modern with a cozy feel. (I especially loved the blinds on the window that featured an autumn leaf motif. It added to the cozy vibes.) The bathroom was also very nice, and had a nice larger shower and large vanity. The staff had also made a rose out of toilet paper and placed it on top of the toilet paper next to the toilet. Such a sweet touch. In the morning before we departed, I stopped by the fitness center on the first floor and was shocked at how big it was compared to other hotel gyms. The treadmill was nice and new, the weight bench was clean, and there was a beautiful selection of weights to choose from.

Stayed one night after a long travel day. Newer hotel. Room was warm which was no big deal. Turned on the AC and cooled down. At 3 in the morning the room was back to 75+ degrees. Thermostat wouldn’t hold at a lower temp. No response from front desk until 7am. Made for a long night. Nothing was offered.

Walls are VERY thin, as others have said. If there are people beside you, you will hear them, and they will hear you. It's pretty surprising for the otherwise relatively nice rooms and property. The beds are pretty firm and come with these ridiculously small couch sized throw pillows. The breakfast was your standard mid range motel "free" breakfast. The one bright spot was the shower and water pressure, was able to take a nice long hot shower Given the options around here...not sure you've have a better choice, but be prepared to listen to your neighbors and sleep with tiny pillows on a hard bed...not great for $180.

It's between a lot of stores and other stores are not far away. Close to the highway several different ways to the highway. Breakfast was okay. The set up was nice and organized. Everyone was friendly.

This was a big surprise! Beautiful hotel, perfectly located, spacious room and bathroom, and a super-outstanding, very-helpful friendly staff. We stayed two nights.

I stayed a couple nights at this hotel. Pros: Newer hotel with updated look and feel. Thoughtful design of guest rooms and common spaces. Rooms were spacious and nicely appointed. Staff were friendly and helpful. The shower water pressure, often a sore subject in hotels, was surprisingly very good and more than adequate. Housekeeping was requested over my stay and refreshed the room nicely. Breakfast was good with a variety of options. Cons: Noise insulation between rooms was horrible. I cannot think of a worse thing to have hotels cut corners on then providing good sound dampening insulation between the rooms. I could clearly hear the person next to me talking in a conversational tone as if they were standing right next to me. I can also hear their TV clearly as if I was watching it myself. Such a crucial thing is to insure a hotel is built so you do not hear the next room, and such a clear miss here for Marriott. Similarly, another important feature is for a hotel to have soft comfortable sheets. The sheets on my bed were neither soft nor comfortable. While there’s not much the local management can do about the building construction (thats a corporate issue), I’d suggest a little better scrutiny on when to replace bedsheets and what to replace them with.
