Fairfield Inn & Suites Houston Channelview - Hotel in Channelview - 15822 E Freeway Service Rd, USA

The lady here was so rude. when she said that we had to leave just for have an extra guest for one night she started to raise her voice at my friend . and the guest was a 15 year old girl. And we could have up to 4 guests in a room. I do not recommend this hotel if u don't want to get yelled at. The elevator is not safe and smelled horrible like weed Tv remote dose not work But the man in the front vary nice and helpful but the woman was not

Things were generally fine. I understand there was a hurricane and it was not normal operation, but the staff was not interested in guest privacy or information security, and that's a deal-breaker for me. On more than one occasion, I observed them leaving copies of guest identification, room numbers, credit card information, notes about guests, etc unattended on the front desk and confronted them about it. On the day I checked out, my wife observed my identification and another guest's information as well. Just sitting on the desk, unattended, and face-up for anyone to photograph or read. She told the manager there on duty that this should not be happening and he actually argued with her about it and refused to secure the information. This was on May 21, 2024 at 11am. We've tried to reach out to Marriott to correct the concern, but have gotten nowhere, so guessing Marriott is fine with it. I blacked out the readable parts of these documents sitting on the counter. As you can see, there is no one standing at the desk. I'm titanium elite - Lifetime Platinum but Titanium this year. Never seen this kind of security violation.

Just book somewhere else. The internet was down so they had to do check-ins manually. But I noticed that there was other people's drivers licenses laying face up on the unattended counter for anyone to steal another person's identity. NOT OK. Our room smelled like smoke and mold. Breakfast was just okay. The staff was not real friendly. When I went to check out their was still copy's of licenses and when I mentioned it to the manager he said that's how he HAD to do it. And when I said, no, you don't, you could have them face down, he just continued to argue with me. The beds were comfortable.

I’ve been here for 7 days and they haven’t had any hot breakfast. Side doors unlocked at all hours. Pool is cloudy which means it’s not being cleaned properly. The front desk is ALWAYS left unattended. And the tissue selection is so cheap.

I found bed bug in my pillow. I had a few bites on my arm. I thought it was mosquitos. I went to stand up from laying down. I saw something move under the pillow case. I squished it and brought it downstairs. I was told they don't have any. I said we'll I'm not lying. You can see it. They offered one night retun of money if we left that night. With a lot of people displaced due to the weather. We couldn't find a new room at 10pm. We went bought bedbug spray. Found 3 dead on the beds in the morning after we sprayed. Again. Waking up with a lot more bites on my back. I have pictures can't upload now that I'm updating

Someone brought two kids down to front desk after trying to find there parents. Desk lady was rude to me and them. Saying it's not my responsibility go leave them in the hall way again. These kids are 3-4 years old and don't speak the same language as us. If it's not the front desks responsibility to get into the room when they won't open the door to let them in who's is it?????????

This is a very nice hotel. The rooms are clean and bathrooms are nice and spacious all of the markers are very friendly thank you for amazing hospitality

I had a blast everything wented great. The guy who checked me in was very professional with his work.The room was nice and set up real well. The only problem I had was the tv was a little outdated but, I made it work to my advantage to make myself comfortable. Other than that everything else was nice. I also enjoy the Breakfast everything was cook well and it fill me I thank you!! Looking forward to my next stay and maybe I will bring something to enjoy what I experience. Thank you for the comfort!!
