Being a titanium member, I expected to have a room ready for occupants. I was mistaken. They didn't have any towels in the room. I went to the phone to call the desk and found the phone didn't have a cable to connect to a wall jack. The phone was nice, though! I went down for breakfast, but the only items available were a few muffins. They were tasty! I wouldn't recommend this hotel to any of my friends or coworkers.

Don’t send a package here if you want it to get lost for over a week! Sent a package to the hotel and it arrived after I departed, which I wasn’t too worried about because before I departed I told the night front desk worker it was arriving when I’m going back home, so she took down my information to return to sender. I get a notification the package was delivered on a Monday morning. I call 4 times and the morning manager said she couldn’t find it, and that she checked the mailbox. I figured I’d call at night to see if someone could find it then. The only reason I’m even giving 2 stars is because the worker Sophia found my package for me… In the mailbox… where the day manager swears she “checked.” I call back the next day to arrange for the package to be sent out, and whoever was working the day shift says the package wasn’t there and the post office must have picked it up already. With 3 days and no update from USPS, I called USPS to confirm if they got the package. And they didn’t. It was sitting in the back office of the hotel the entire time. Absolutely ridiculous and awful customer service from the day manager. No one wanted to help me.

Had issues the minute we arrived. Really unable to check us in and give us key since their key kiosk was not working. Person at the front desk had to take people individually to their rooms because of the key issue. Since it was 7pm this of course left front desk unattended.|First room was not clean and still had the Bachelorette sign up on the wall from the last folks that stayed there. Room smelled like someone spilled acetone somewhere in the room. Had to be moved to another room on different floor.|Second room did not smell however there was only one towel in the room and neither of the televisions works as they should. Addressed with the front desk, received towels and we tried to fix television issues but couldn't. |Television issues were addressed with one of the managers the next morning. They said they would have maintenance look at it while we were gone. Upon return in the evening there was a not from the manager that they thought they had one fixed but not the other when in fact neither was fixed.|Day 3, spoke with the manager again about the television issue as well as garbage not being taken out of the room. Offered 10,000 points for the inconvenience however I told the manager they would have to do better than that. Manager said they would need to talk to the General Manager to do anything other than that and would let me know. |Day 4, spoke to the manager again, at this point it will be 5 days without a television that worked appropriately. Again, advised they would need to do more than 10,000 points and that we would be checking out tomorrow. She said she would let us know.|5 days after checkout I had to call the hotel to try to find out the resolution. After me chasing them down and threatening to contest the charges they provided another 10,000 points (should have at least had one night free).|Breakfast was marginal at best, coffee not good, not much food available other than making waffles. Eggs were cold, bacon not good and muffins were dry. |I would think that the general manager would have been there during the key kiosk problem, so the front desk was not left unattended. Also think the General Manager should have addressed the other issues during this time since they could not be fixed.|I should not have had to follow up with them, they should have followed up with me.

I recently stayed at this hotel, which is only three years old, and I was thoroughly disappointed with my experience. Despite the modern exterior, the hotel’s design flaws quickly became apparent. The walls are paper-thin, making it impossible to ignore the sound of the neighbors’ TV and the constant footsteps from the floors above. Adding to the noise was the relentless freeway traffic that made it difficult to get a decent night’s sleep. The air conditioning unit in my room was another source of frustration, rattling loudly throughout the night. I also encountered issues with the electric curtains, which didn’t work properly, and discovered there were no vents in the bathroom, leading to a stuffy and uncomfortable environment. To make matters worse, the windows in my room were sealed shut, offering no chance to let in fresh air. Overall, the lack of soundproofing and faulty amenities made my stay far from restful. I expected much better from a newer hotel, and I won’t be returning. On a positive note, the front desk staff and maintenance person were very friendly and tried to help as much as possible.

The hotel was extremely badly constructed. There were no exhaust fans in bathrooms and with so much humidity, the bathrooms smelled bad after a day of stay. The hotel has no proper insulation between floors and rooms. I could hear everything happening in the rooms next to mine and above mine. It was extremely uncomfortable stay. The bed was also ‘mushy’ and not comfortable, which I did not understand (it was not a decent mattress, felt over used). The route to the hotel was convoluted and indirect going through several strip malls, not great. I will not return to this hotel ever.

One of the best hotels I have stayed at in the GR area. My king room was perfect, very clean, no worries about dust bunnies or bed bugs. Loved that the TV knew who I was as a Bonvoy member, the shower was great and I love the full sized toiletries in the shower. Super comfortable accommodations and the fitness center met my needs. Breakfast was decent, something for everyone. The staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the mobile app for Bonvoy so you can virtual check in and get a mobile key pass.

Our room was huge. The beds were comfy. Linens were clean. The bathroom was a bit beat up. The toilet paper holder was crooked, and you could see a hole behind it. The shampoo was not attached to the shower wall, just laid up top on the towel rack. We got a room that can sleep 6 but only had 3 towels in the room. The pool was freezing.

Very nice rooms. Comfortable bed. Giant TV. Big bathroom with a huge shower. 15 minutes from Downtown Grand Rapids. Plenty of restaurants of all caliber all around. I highly recommend Amore Italian restaurant up the road about 8 minutes to the north.
