Fairfield Inn & Suites Fort Worth I-30 West Near NAS JRB - Hotel in Fort Worth - 6851 West Fwy, USA

The location is right near a highway and very close to a shopping center and mall. Although the mall is pretty empty. The front desknstaff was very nice and house keeping was very attentive. I saw one or two mild stains but those things can happen. They replaced my sheets quickly. The pool and fitness center was clean and well kept too. Fairly new as well. Would stay again.

My suggestion is to NOT stay at this hotel! Staff is friendly. Breakfast was well maintained. Safety was an issue due to the location. Office chair in room was severely warn and broken. A missing light fixture in the bathroom. A lamp without a bulb. Desk outlets didn't work. The exercise room had black mold growing down the wall! My king mattress had a dent in the bed.

Don’t stay here. Staff was wonderful BUT they were constantly out of small towels, NO luggage holders, we showered in nearly COLD water both nights stay and you can practically here everything outside. The hotel is NEAR THE HIGHWAY. Did not sleep well. Poor build. Most horrible stay I’ve had besides the staff doing their best to accommodate our stay.

Positive: Room was clean with clean bed sheets. Bathroom was also clean. Breakfast was good and kitchen lady was very nice and helpful. Negative: TV remote did not work properly and surprised to see less number of towels than usual in other Fairfield inn's.

Firstly, the check-in process at 11:00 am was a hassle. Despite requesting an early check-in, I had to wait until 3pm before getting into my room, which was inconvenient. After a 5 hr drive this was not convenient, I was told I would be charged $70 if I wanted to check in early. We decided to go to family members home, and did not check into the hotel until 10:00pm. I noticed the shower pressure was disappointingly low, making it difficult to fully rinse off. Additionally, the temperature of the shower water erratically, alternating between scalding hot and freezing cold, making for an uncomfortable showering experience. Furthermore, the incessant noise from the nearby highway was a major disturbance, especially during the night, disrupting my sleep multiple times. Lastly, there was a concerning issue with water seeping onto the carpet near the air conditioning unit, which not only created an unpleasant odor but also raised concerns about cleanliness and maintenance standards. Despite these issues, the hotel did have some positive aspects, such as friendly staff and comfortable bedding. However, the overall experience was marred by the aforementioned shortcomings, leaving much to be desired.

Our room was filthy on check in - hair, crumbs, and stains on the sheets and walls, and the floor had not been vacuumed. I’ve never left a hotel before, but we immediately checked out. The staff seemed understanding at checkout and we were told that we were being refunded, but it's now been two weeks and suddenly the hotel says they have "no record of a complaint or notes on a refund". This place, and Marriott's response, has been a mess.

Marriott as a brand has changed and not trending positively. This location has the absolute rudest staff and general manager that I have ever met. I was treated rudely, poorly, insulted, and also called a liar by the front desk staff when I told them the rates online included all taxes and fees, which they billed me extra for on top of the rate. The general manager RAM seems to have a tendency towards a certain type of guest and against others. There was a male guest who felt very comfortable walking behind the front desk and I was told he didn’t work there. He is extremely unprofessional and rude.

I booked a King room for our 4 night stay, but upon our arrival, we were told there were no kings available that we were put in a double room. I asked for them to adjust my rate to the queen rate because they were cheaper rooms, but the so-called supervisor told me rates change; do you want me to cancel the room. I told her no because there were no other rooms available at a reasonable rate due to all of the events going on that we're stuck. She got an attitude with me and talked to me like I was a child because I was upset that I got 2 queens instead of the king I booked. The icing on the cake was when she told me, "You can push the beds together if you want to." I normally sleep with 2 or 3 pillows due to back surgery, and I have extreme hot flashes at night, making it impossible for me and my husband to sleep together in a queen instead of a king size bed like we have at home. She smartly asked me again, 'Do you want me to cancel the room?' It seemed like running customers off was her fix, to the motel f'ing up my reservation. I told her I'd take this up with corporate and went to our room. Here's where it got even worse. The room was not vacuumed, there was a water bottle lid, trash and food crumbs on the floor. The floor also had 2 big stains as you walk in and our shoes stuck to the bathroom floor after walking around our room. The bathroom didn't have anywhere to hang your towel except for on the shower rod. The bathroom had drywall falling off the wall, the bottom of the door was peeling, and there was hair on the floor. The chair at the desk looked like it had been plucked off a trash pile, peeling, and very HARD seat. I did not call this a hotel because this property is just a smidgen above motel 6.
