I don't even know where to start. I gave it 1 star because of the cleaning & breakfast staff. They were the best this hotel had to offer. From the moment I checked in, the agent was inpatient, and a bit rude. I have been a Marriott Bonvoy Member, Elite and Credit Card holder for years, and he did not even give me a bottle of water. I have never checked into a Marriott chain and not given water at check-in. Instead he said, "you can buy them for $3.50 each". Like, OK...I just spent $600 to stay here for 3 nights, let me spend more on water. In addition, this hotel is located right on the beach and it's clearly a family hotel. You can hear kids running up and down the halls all day/night. The walls are super thin. The mattresses are horrible, I usually love Marriott chain beds, but this one was awful. If you bring kids & need to wash laundry like I do, bring quarters because their machines do not take card. We are in 2024, I can't remember the last hotel I visited that did not take card. To top it off, I requested a late check-out when I made my reservation over 2 months prior. I asked for a late checkout while I was there, I asked if I could checkout at noon, rather than at 11. I was told that I needed to ask the morning of, so I did. I was then denied a late checkout. The funny thing is, I went to do laundry and I noticed that the room I stayed in was not even cleaned until 1pm. They could have easily let me stay an extra hour. It seems that I was denied every little thing I requested, not only that, they did it with an attitude. A change of front desk staff here would make a world of difference.

Free parking, free breakfast, beach access (very short walk to the beach), easy trip from the airport, and no frills. ||This is a Fairfield. There are no balconies, no fancy restaurants inside, and nothing that resembles ultra luxury. The staff is extremely friendly, housekeeping was great, the access to the beach is exactly why we stayed here. The rooms were comfortable and the beds were pleasant. ||If you want to see stay somewhere that would t break the bank and allow you to access some of the most beautiful stretches of coast in Florida, this is your hotel.

This place is great. Room was pristine. Great access to the beach. I’d like to give a shout-out to the breakfast staff. They were on point with everything. As soon as any food was remotely low, it was refilled immediately. Any spills were cleaned immediately. The whole food area was clean. Kudos to them. Overall my stay was awesome. Definitely would come here again.

We took a last minute trip and after reading reviews landed on this hotel due to price and proximity to the beach. We stayed in a standard room and it was bigger than expected which was a huge plus with 3 adults and a child. We typically stay in a condo and enjoy the balcony and a kitchen but this was a quick trip and we wanted to do it on a budget. We were not disappointed, It was a great experience, pros outweigh the cons. ||Pros:|-Everyone was so friendly from front desk, housekeeping and breakfast staff.|-it was super clean! I couldn’t believe for how close it was to the beach and for the amount of people coming in and out, you rarely saw sand and water. It always smelled clean and someone was mopping or cleaning. |-Steps from the beach, absolutely amazing location. |-the beach area in front of the hotel was not crowded at all!|-breakfast was good! 2 waffle makers, typically eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, yogurt. One day they had biscuits and gravy my boys wished they had that every morning ! |-towels available which was nice not to have to pack and or bring wet towels in our|Luggage. |-Bucettis pizza delivered right to the pool, good pizza and it was fast! |-saw dolphins 2 of the 4 days. ||Cons:|-we flew in and didn’t have a vehicle with us, there were limited restaurants within a reasonable distance for my elderly mother. If you are comfortable walking there is a lot to do by the pier with a 2 mile walk one way. |-Check out is at 11. We were lucky to get a late checkout at 12:00 (not a guarantee, based off of availability) Our flight didn’t leave until 7. -They don’t hold luggage, which made it hard the last day. Luckily my mom was tired and didn’t want to go to the beach so she sat and read with our luggage while we enjoyed the beach. The staff was extremely kind and let her sit in the breakfast area. (usually closed outside breakfast hours) |-the first three days there was a ton of seaweed/grass. Not their fault but made it pretty unpleasant to swim in. Our last day it cleared up and it was nice. | |Overall it was a fabulous stay! Next time we will definitely rent a car . We would stay again!

My wife and I spent a couple of days at the Fairfield Inn on Fort Walton Beach. It offers direct access to the Gulf as well as free parking. I was able to merge a free night and a paid night to make the stay a really great deal. We were given a top floor suite with a separate sitting area and oversized couch. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room quiet which made it very restful. The breakfast selection was fantastic and diverse both mornings. The hotel is only a few minutes from many great restaurants and coffee shops in both Destin and FWB. We enjoyed our stay very much and will keep this property in mind on future trips to the area!

Upon arrival we were greeted with a smile, check in was quick and easy. Clean room with soft pillows and a quiet sleep. The room is equipped with a microwave, hairdryer and kettle. It is a 2 minute walk to the beach with. gorgeous sunsets. Hotel pool has a kids splash fountain with umbrella for shades. Breakfast had plenty options and they rotate the bacon, patty options. Staff at breakfast were super friendly and helpful. A nice little convenient store that sells some snacks, wine and sunblock. Hubby was able to work in the day at the breakfast area as it was quiet for meetings. Only 4 min drive to the aquarium, Super fun stay and highly recommend it!

This location is on beach side of the Island with quick access to the beautiful beach. The hotel was extremely clean and essentials were restocked daily without daily reminders. Amazing service from front desk and staff throughout our stay. Despite it being the week of Independence Day, the friendly and attentive service was consistent. Tanya made our checkout so convenient and easy. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable.

It is so nice to have an option like Fairfield Inn amongst a plethora of condo rentals.... when you don't need tons of space and don't need a gigantic pool with a lazy river, but you want a solid place to stay where you can get from the elevator to the sand in three minutes or less. This is definitely higher-end than most FIs, however, and the service is top notch. Breakfast is more or less the typical Fairfield Inn fare, a continental style with (working) waffle makers and always a selection of hot proteins. But the breakfast attendants are really on it and they don't let anything run out. For a 6 night stay we only requested housekeeping once, but they were very accommodating to our time request for service, and when we needed extra towels or pillows they got them to us right away. Parking is plentiful (at least it was this week) and generally it was not hard to get a covered spot, which was a bonus. Beach access is *right there* with of course a great little pool for the kiddos and a well-kept restroom at the parking level. This was our second stay - we stayed in 2018 when the property was relatively new, and I was very happy to see that it exceeded our expectations once again after all these years. Cannot wait to visit again. 150/100.

Tried this place from word of mouth and the feedback was everything and more than I wanted. My wife and I tried the yuca fries and the birra tacos and we were not disappointed. Tasted like home cooking and I could not be more pleased. On top of that
