Fairfield Inn & Suites Detroit Metro Airport Romulus - Featured Reviews (741)
The location and long-term parking was convenient for an early morning flight the next day. The front desk employee was friendly. However, the AC in the room was incredibly loud and the blinds were not blackout which allowed the defective light from the nearby parking to continue flashing into the room. It took me almost 2 hours to fall asleep and I was not well rested for my 4am flight the next morning. There were also no to-go breakfast options for those leaving prior to the normal breakfast hours. Otherwise the stay was fine. The room was clean. I did not use the pool or hot tub.
The hotel is a bit dated, but the service and location are perfect for quick access to DTW. We had trouble getting home from our trip, and I was able to send a chat message to change the date of my return, and the staff quickly changed the date for me-3 times! Received upgrade to larger room, and check-in was easy. It was also super great to use the park and fly option! Highly recommend
The room and hotel was nice but the staff were the worst part. My job made the reservation and my card was put down for incidentals. They charged me for the whole room instead. I contacted them multiple times and they kept dodging and giving me different times. I keep hearing a manager isn’t in or I have to wait for a manger to call me. My job has already contacted them about this too. I am an ex marriot employee so I know it was a mistake but it feels like no one wants to solve it.
We had an overnight stay at the Fairfield Inn for an early flight the next day. There were 4 of us in a double queen room. The room size was enough for an overnight. Any longer, and we'd definitely need another room. The Front Desk was severely understaffed at the time of our check-in and we had to return to the desk twice to have the key reprogrammed to the correct room. The room was clean, and our stay was quiet and uneventful. The hot tub is definitely the highlight of our stay.
Positive: The pool and whirlpool. Negative: The person who checked us in was not friendly and very short. The room was very musty smelling. The bed was very uncomfortable. We asked to change rooms and was refused until we got assertive. The new room was worse and the smell was worse. It gets worse.
The hotel seemed fine when checking in. The beds looked very lumpy and not made well. When we folded back the sheets on one of the beds they were dirty...black marks/stains on them. It almost felt like there was sand in the sheets. The bathroom was fine but lacked amenities. There was never anyone at the front desk when we passed through. We always had to yell "hello" to have someone come out from the back. Would not stay again.
We came as a family to beat the heat and enjoy the pool and hot tub. I should not be on the way to urgent care with my children because of possible chlorine poisoning. Very irritated eyes and excessive coughing, and this is the next day. PLEASE check the levels of your chlorine. The jacuzzi levels should not be the same as the pool levels. This has never happened to us before and we were unaware of how damaging this could be. We had to prop open the outside door of the pool area. While explaining this to the GM as we were canceling our 2nd day, we were not meet with any concern. We were told what the logs said. We are all human and understand things happen, but a cause for concern was warranted in this situation. Even if for future guests. Of course that lead to a call to the corporate office in which we were informed that they have had calls about this before and told us to speak to the GM. Corporate did not know we had already done that.
I don't understand why others gave this hotel a bad review, my stay and experience was exemplary. The hotel staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and welcome. My room was clean, comfortable and quiet and updated. They front desk took the time and care to explain the parking and shuttle service to the airport. Quick Park is directly behind the hotel and very convenient. Shuttle drivers were top notch. A huge thank you to all involved for making my stay wonderful and worth it. Keep up the good work! I'll definitely be back.

If you have a flight out of DTW I highly recommend this hotel. We have stayed here 1/2 dozen times the last few years and have never been disappointed. The facility is clean and well maintained. Most recently we had a very early flight and weren't ab
A great location with plenty of amenities, including a full service restaurant with some of the best chicken and pancakes I've had! Besides the air conditioner being a little busted, and the low water pressure of the shower, the room was great. The b
Embassy Suites is one of my favorite places to stay no matter where they are. This one was nice. The free breakfast is always good with made to order omelets and pancakes. You can get scrambled eggs already made and thereâs usually a good choice o

I love smokers alley. I live it the neighborhood so I come often. The store is always spotless and smells nice. They have a big selection of things idk what most of it is. I just like the candles and snacks. When I do smoke I get my white owls here.
I want to thank Romulus Flowers & Gifts SOO much! They helped us with a prank for a lost bet on my brother Mitch. He was dressed in an embarrassing Donald Duck costume and had to stop by and pick up 'daisies' from Romulus Flowers. Michelle the owne

This 5 star review is based on the customer service I received from the salesperson Baneen. I originally came to the store to ask shipping questions but she was so knowledgeable about T-mobile network, deals and their items that I ended up purchasing
