Fairfield Inn & Suites Colorado Springs South - Featured Reviews (516)
We stayed here three nights while visiting the many different parks and sights. The hotel is located somewhat away from downtown so there's only one restaurant nearby and no shopping. It is in an industrial area near the airport but didn't have any loud noise. Our suite was very nice and large with a kitchen and full size refrigerator. The hotel is well suited for extended stays. The breakfast was just OK with a more limited selection than other Marriott hotels but that's probably because many guests cook inside their rooms.
Front desk staff were great. Chad was friendly at check in and very accommodating. The room was small and dated. Definitely not worth the $150 price tag.
When walking down to breakfast in the morning, there was a homeless person asleep in the stairwell. This completely creeped me out. I would not recommend staying here
We were staying for one night and had generally a satisfactory stay at the Fairfield. We choose the Marriott chain because of our platinum status. There was parking charge which we kindly acknowledged since the free WiFi was not working for a member.
But …and there is a huge BUT… my daughter left her air pods pro in the room. We called 3 times and told each front desk person that the AirPods are still at the hotel since we could track them . We left a phone number for a return and offered to pay for the shipping….but still no return call or similar contact.
Even while I am writing this we still can track those AirPods.
I am aware that it is our fault but I have had a lot better experiences which Marriott Hotels even when personal things get lost.
We hope that this review of poor service will reach the people in charge . They can still get a hold of us
The room is posted on google maps as $130. I called to make a reservation and it is actually $200 plus tax. $20 of which is a deposit fee that is supposed to be returned to you after your stay if nothing everything is good when you check out. What a price jump. How can a place of business say one thing and charge so much more?
This was a marginal hotel. Rooms are OK, bathrooms are pretty bad. I'm not sure I've ever seen such a small vanity. Felt old and dingy, it was loud, beds were pretty uncomfortable. Breakfast was marginal. Sometimes you get inexpensive hotels that are great, but this isn't one of those.
Location was fine, service was good as well. Room wasn't terrible by any sense. The one I was in was relatively updated, bathroom was a bit dated but felt okay I suppose.
The service here is really good as echoed by others who have stayed here. It doesn’t feel like a Marriott but does appear to have upgrades compared to other posts I’ve seen. It still feels pretty dated for the price.
Had terrible tiny room with full size bed (definitely not a queen). Staff stood outside yelling across parking lot right below our room. I'm platinum Bonvoy and remembered why I usually stay @ Hiltons - I can choose my own room! Stayed @ the Hampton for this trip.

My bride and I enjoyed our stay immensely. It took a lot to coordinate a wedding and therefore didnât get to spend as much time as we wanted to at Chateaux as we wanted but the evenings were filled with romance due to the ambiance of the house. Th
