Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Raynham Middleborough/Plymouth - Hotel in Middleborough - 4 Chalet Rd, USA

Clean hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. It's summer, and we stayed on the weekend, so I understand why the room rate was a little high, but I'm not used to paying that much, especially off Cape. The hotel is right next to 495 and is close enough to the Cape where it worked for us. If cost isn't an issue for you, then I definitely would recommend it. There is complimentary water and snacks in your room along with downstairs in the lobby. That was a nice touch. A negative was the lack of a pool. We weren't there for that, so it wasn't an issue. Next door was a dunkin and down the street at the rotary was a Friendly's which was a plus to my family. They're hard to find in NY. Cheaper gas nearby. Cheapest I found on my trip from Central NY to the Cape. All in all would stay again. Quiet enough and no safety concerns. **I changed my mind and decided to give 5 stars. The only issue was price and it wasn't that bad.

Pluses: Two comfortable queen beds, lots of pillows, grab bar in tub shower, friendly front desk staff, ample parking, right off 495 Interchange. Cons: A little cramped for two people with luggage. Only room for one set of personal toiletries at a time on vanity. No toast at the breakfast buffet, just bagels, English muffins, regular muffins. The first floor rooms near the elevators just off the lobby are a high guest traffic area and can be a little noisy.

My fridge froze everything. I told the maintenance person, and he said he would replace it while I was gone at my conference. I came back and it was not replaced. I went down to the front desk, and the guy said he would be right up to see if he could get me a new one. I waited and waited. I had to walk back down because my room phone didn't work. He was behind the front desk just sitting there. I told him to forget it. Also, around 12:30 AM, I woke up to the strong smell of Marijuana. I used my cell phone to call the front desk. Was basically blown off. He told me to talk to the front desk in the morning. Won't stay there again.

Stayed mid July 2023. The air in the rooms worked but for some reason our room and the other couple traveling with us had very damp feeling rooms. Mind you, were were on the same floor opposite sides of the hall. Moisture collected on the tile floors and all of our clothing and bedding flet wet to the touch. There was also a strong bleach smell that never faded with a 3 day stay. We were not in our room much, thank goodness. The staff was nice, location met our needs.

A comfortable stay for my uses with friendly staff. I liked the landscaping and seeing my car from my room. No big issues, just a good hotel as expected and I really appreciated the free popcorn and water, nothing worse than getting back to your hotel room feeling like you’re starving. Sometimes there were good options for breakfast as well. Of course there’s also Dunkin next door. I would advise that if you’re in the car, make Dunkin’ or the gas station your second stop - the highway location can be busy such that you can’t easily turn left, it’s better to turn right. However the hotel itself is set back from the road and you can’t hear it from the room which is nice.

I had to take an unexpected trip to Massachusetts to take care of some business. My wife made the hotel reservations so I didn’t know what to expect. ||The room (two double beds) was clean, roomy and quiet. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. ||||The fully functional microwave allowed me to heat up and eat the various foods I brought in and the mini fridge allowed me to store juice, water and leftovers. ||||The housekeeping staff were excellent. They were ||very friendly and extremely helpful. The staff at the front desk were always nice and always asked if I required anything. I was never made to feel like an “outsider.” The continental breakfast was ok. It was a like eating fast food. The fresh fruit, bananas and apples were good. ||||All in all it was a very positive experience and if I return, I would definitely stay again at this hotel.

Enjoyed our 2 night stay here very much. I recommend it to anyone looking for a clean hotel.

This Fairfield Inn & Suites is immaculate! The staff was unbelievable helpful, friendly, responsive and just plain a pleasure to speak with. When we checked in, the lovely young lady (long brown hair, I did not catch her name), was so nice and friendly. We are so impressed with this hotel, if I'm ever in this area again I would go out of my way to stay here. The room was just as clean as the rest of the hotel. I did use the gym and it was adequate and very clean as well. Our shower ran out of shower gel and the young woman immediately came up and replaced. The breakfast was very good, all the bread items were individually wrapped, that was a nice detail. They even had real oatmeal, my personal favorite. The serving area was also very clean. This hotel is doing it all right!!! If you have a chance to stay here, you will not be disappointed with anything.
