Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Asheville Tunnel Road - Hotel in Asheville - 184 Tunnel Rd, USA

We were here because my mother was in the hospital. We were exhausted frustrated and scared. Ashley Davis checked us in help us get the best room for us she was so kind and caring and compassionate. If there was any good part to this trip it was Ashley. I haven't personally stayed at a Fairfield inn before but I have stated many many hotels and I am delighted in the quality comfort and spaciousness of the rooms. The provided shampoos and conditioner are good quality. The pillows are so soft and the beds are so comfy. The breakfast buffet is a standard breakfast buffet. For a room as big as ours which was 2 bedrooms sweet with a pull out couch I certainly would have expected to pay more than what I paid. We got signed up for the Marriott rewards. In my husband who books trips for 13 schools in his district every year's plans on using Marriott for the future. Thank you thank you thank you Ashley.

What a great stay! Ashley checked us in and was very friendly. She made conversation and made check-in personable. She is a true asset to your front desk team. The hotel and room were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. As the breakfast rush came in right before cut-off, the breakfast attendant worked hard to make sure everyone had what they needed. Will definitely return if we are in the area again.

Positive: The hotel is pretty new and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. It served a really good breakfast that is no extra charge, one of the best Ive seen. Nice place to stay and very good value. Negative: It is a bit of a challenge navigating the streets to get to the Biltmore estate.

We came to spend a couple of days around Christmas. We had reserved a Hampton Inn on Tunnel Road as we were looking for a hotel with a swimming pool and hot tub, but when we arrived, those were out of service, so we canceled as those were the accommodations we were looking for. At the last minute, we found this gem with those accommodations and a great hotel for a great price! Excellent staff. The gentleman who assisted us late at night was so helpful. The breakfast crew was very good, with a great selection of food, and they were on top of things, as well as the cleaning crew. The hotel is also located close to shopping areas and main highways.

Our air was out as soon as we checked in and they moved us immediately and went to fix the old room within 10 minutes. Check in service was spectacular. Pool was COLD for a heated pool. Food was terrible but very expensive. $10 for a very small fruit cup. One person in the restaurant had an AMAZING personality and the other…. Well she should prolly find another job cause it was obvious she hated it there and customers were an inconvenience.

Very clean and comfortable, plenty of dinner options very nearby. Sits on a stretch of road that harkens back to the original Asheville vacation vibe, but looks to be a recent new build. Also very accommodating of our need to check out a day early but well after posted check-out time.

My husband and I spent several days here at the beginning of August. We had a wonderful suite. The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The amenities were wonderful. The location was great. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Asheville!

Thank you for a great stay. Very clean, staff was so nice and the hot tub was awesome. Thank you also for having turkey sausage for breakfast, not everyone eats pork. The breakfast hostess kept everything so clean and items filled. With so many places to choose from in Asheville, I'm glad we chose this place. We will be returning.
