Fairfield Inn & Suites Bowling Green - Hotel in Bowling Green - 1544 E Wooster St, USA

The good: Property is relatively clean. The staff is friendly. There were little issues that I do not encounter at other Fairfields though such as, It's difficult to find if you are using navigation. The breakfast is terrible. Its just not good at all. My Chromecast would not connect to their WiFi. They don't use the standard Marriott WiFi sign in. They need new pillows. My door was hard to open. It took multiple tries with the key card and then getting out was a chore. They use those tiny carts for your luggage. Try getting those into the door by yourself. I stay 100+ nights a year at Marriott and probably won't be back to this one.

The hotel was fine. There is an employee working the front desk who is overdramatic. It is a soccer tournament weekend. Multiple teams are hanging out in the lobby. At 10pm she stated it was "quiet time" so all music was turned off and everyone was just hanging out. She called the police because people were sitting in the breakfast area talking. I have never been So disrespected in my life. The kids were back in the room and the parents were just sitting around talking and she actually called the police. Nobody was loud or out of control. It was uncalled for. I would never stay at this Marriott again. As an adult I have never been treated this way before! Unbelievable!

I have stayed at Marriott across the US. This is the first that doesn't offer a water bottle at check-in. Ridiculous. Then, at breakfast, there is no water again. They chose to serve strawberry kiwi drink in the dispenser instead of the listed water. Just sugar drinks and coffee, and milk. They do sell water for 3.00 a bottle! But oh yeah, they ran out. I asked for foam pillows, and they were out! They give you coffee makers in the but no coffee. This place is an absolute joke. It was a horrible excuse for a marriott property. The staff takes no responsibility for anything. Their comment, I'm new! I have no clue. They keep saying we're in a college town. This is what we do. When you stay here, LOWER YOUR EXPECTATIONS. The beds and the room are fine. If that's all you are concerned about, you're good. If you care about the other stuff, stay at the Hampton next door!

Nicer FFIS than most I've stayed at. Front Desk was nice, pleasant & helpful. Rooms were clean and it was ready, when I arrived. Great location in Bowling Green, near their football, stadium (walk), short drive to softball & baseball parks. You also easily walk to multiple eateries.

Very nice hotel inside. Seems like a newer location. There is plenty of parking around the perimeter of the hotel and even getting back to the hotel after 5 pm. I had no problem finding parking. The room was big, clean and I couldn't hear any of my neighbors. I was upgraded as a rewards member. If you aren't a member of marriott bonvoy, I'd recommend joining. They have a really awesome tea selection, which I really appreciate. I just wish they had bananas at breakfast.

The rooms are okay, and the staff is mostly friendly, but do not expect housekeeping service, even when requested. Also, if you are a rewards member with high status in their program, do not expect any loyalty benefits.

What should you expect for $280 for 2 nights? Staff at this hotel seems to think not much. I wonder what they would expect if they spent that money on a 2 night “vacation” stay??? No housekeeping so you had to go retrieve your own clean towels for the second day. Housekeeping vacuuming the hallway at 9am outside of the room. Requested a late checkout and housekeeping tried to get in the room at just after 10am with no knock. Luckily I had the room locked from the inside. I went to the door and she told me she was told the room was vacant???? Normal check out was noon and I had until 2. Poor communication and clearly the front desk didn’t care as they said they would talk with her and that was likely frustrating to me. Frustrating???? No, infuriating from your incompetence is more like it. Never again! There are other options in this town.

Stopped off on our way to toledo on a long weekend. The location was easy to find. Room was ok, but there was soap left in the shower. No mention of our status or offer of points/item (we are Titanium status). Breakfast was really good and the staff were on top of keeping things stocked. Does need a little work on cleaning the room after a stay. WIFI was fine. Good location near I-75. We would stay here again.
