Fairfield Inn & Suites Atlanta Stonecrest - Hotel in Stonecrest - 7850 Stonecrest Square, USA

Honestly, really nice location surrounded by restaurants and a mall. Really close to the highway. And it's hidden in the woods kind of you have to come here to see what I mean. It's walking distance from the mall, but there's a lot of trees surrounding in between. Kind of makes you feel in the backwoods. Really peaceful as I sit outside doing this. Front desk, lady that I dealt with last night, was amazing. Hook me up with a free drink after taking a while to check in. Pool seems clean, and the gym is pretty big for a hotel gym. The room is exceptionally clean, TV is large. I think it's a 50 inch maybe 55.it actually has a closet closet. Air conditioner works amazingly good. Had it on 72 in the room was really cool all night. Did not indulge in the breakfast buffet, but from the sounds of it, it was packed.

If you don't know ahead of time., they charge $50 PER NIGHT for incidentals. They say it is only an authorization, but if you only have a debit card, you can't use that money! But regardless, that is WAY too much! I stayed here 2 other times and I was only charged either$15 or $25 for my entire stay... LAST MONTH! Since my job reserves the rooms, I usually choose where I will stay and I chose THIS hotel for the LAST time!! That is ridiculous! The breakfast shucked last time anyway. But I decided to stay again and overlook that, but not again! Lost a customer who works here (out of town) OFTEN!

I was very disappointed at my stay here during 7/25-7/30. First let me talk about the fee I was charged upon check in thar i was not made aware of during booking or speaking over the phone to the front desk agent prior to reserving. This inscidental fee really empacted my trip financially, not being made aware prior shows bad customer service. Guests are charged an incident fee, yet cars are being broke into in the parking lot. We should've been paid an incident fee. The lack of housekeeping was an utter shock, my trash was only emptied once. No trash bags were placed in the cans. I was only rationed towels ever over day at times. When the dirty towels were picked up, it took hours for then to be replaced. I was told all the towels in the entire hotel were being washed. I thought this was a good hotel brand, clearly not or this hotel is not being maintained up to standards.

Lack of housekeeping is apparent in the rooms. I also experienced a lack of housing keeping during my stay. I was told every other day I would receive house keeping when I checked in (10 day stay). On the Marriott App for the hotel under the house keeping section it also says every other day for extended stays. 5 days later and numerous complaints to the front desk and still no house keeping, even after being assured I would receive house keeping the next day. The first room I was assigned had what I believe to be Serratia marcescens in the shower (you know that red ring you seen in toilets and showers where the standing water and either mold or bacteria has just accumulated from lack of proper cleaning…). I will never stay in this location again. The absolute worst Fairfield Inn and Suites I’ve ever visited. Hopefully the corporate team sends someone out to investigate.

Staff friendly. My major complaint was the laundry was always being washed.No wash clothes and a few towels. The breakfast was good. The room comfortable The pool is small .

I'm unsure why the stars for this hotel was low. I decided to take the chance and ride by, speak with staff and see clean it was. To my surprise, it was a 5 Star in my book. Staff was friendly at the counter and breakfast attendants. The security was great and noise level zero. I heard nothing. It was clean too. The only criticism would be to get brighter lighting. I wear glass so I could see. Lol Other than that a wonderful experience I will be back and hope to receive the same treatment.

First impression is usually what sticks with you the most. Upon entering, a person was being trained on the front desk. I was not greeted at all and felt like I was interrupting them. You know the old cliche of looking down on you...I'm better than you. I told them my name and we had requested a room close to the pool. The room they gave us was all the way at the end of the hall opposite from the pool They booked us in a handicap room of which I did not request. Upon entering the room, the black out blinds could not even be pulled up. They were broken. The shower was a roll in of which was very hard to use since neither one of us were in a wheelchair. The indoor pool was absolutely freezing! I guarantee you that water was around 55°. I have a pool myself. Upon entering the water my legs went into cramps because of the cold. It was raining here and we could not use the entrance closest to our room because the parking lot was flooded. Will not be back!

Please I repeat do not go here I planned me and my kids a getaway trip for there back to school trip turned into disaster what was supposed to have been a good time turned into us leaving and not staying the time we was supposed to thank god I took picture and have camera to show that we left and did not stay I waited in the waiting area waiting to speak with someone they was speaking with another guy so Me and my kids end up leaving called back the next day and when I spoke with the representative she stated oh I know thank god I have that recorded finally spoke with manager she stated on that Monday she would called me on that Wednesday never called I had to called today which is Tuesday the following week I am thankful that I have pictures
