Fairfax Motel - Motel in Roanoke Rapids - 1135 E 10th St, USA

The beds are hard very uncomfortable the blankets were torn and had cigarette burns all over in them pillows were stained . The TV didn't work we got two towels for one week the air didn't work neither did the heat. Overall experience was horrible there were bedbugs in our beds the microwave was filthy with leftover food left in it . Do not recommend you staying here just pay the $150 a night online and stay at the nicer hotel i promise you'll thank me

This is definately a budget type motel. The room is very basic with older dated furniture. It appears to have no owners that have put in new floors and probably painted. Now I thought I got a real good deal, however, I was travelling a very more days and had motels that were twice the motel this was for a lower rate. It was reasonably clean. the front desk person was very pleasent. There is no coffee maker and no coffee in the office area either. It was ok for me but I think I would stay somewhere nicer for the same money.

I didn't have very high expectations for $50 a night, but this room was foul. Old is fine. Worn is fine, but this place was filthy. Flies, hair, carpet full of oil or something. The only plus side was like they gave us a refund for the remainder of our stay.

I've been having a really tough time being able to sleep there because of how firm the beds are and how flat the pillows happen to be. The room itself is small, but it hasn't posed me any problems. Same with the refrigerator. After turning on the air conditioning, I found that I couldn't breathe well and I kept sneezing. That might just be me, though. Everything else is pretty standard. The room was clean, the microwave worked well. I don't know anything about the tv except that it was flat screen and that it apparently has 901 channels. I do have to reiterate that I really couldn't sleep. That really messed it up for me.

I arrived in north Carolina waaaaay earlier than my afternoon check in time at the best western, and they wouldnt allow me an early morning check in. I'd been driving all night and just wanted to rest my eyes and get a hot shower. The staff at the fairfax hotel not only gave me a room for 40 bucks at 930 am but were courteous enough to call the house keeper to clean a newly vacated room for me in less than half an hour. My expectations weren't that high for 40 bucks and I was desperate to get off the road. Much to my surpise the room was exceptionally clean and neat. It wasnt the ritz Carlton but it was far better than I expected. Slept like a baby and id gladly stay there anytime. Thanks again fairfax motel for your hospitality.

This was the far worst experience I have every come a cross enough to want me to puck 🤢🤮 as I pulled my cover back on both beds noticed there was stains on the sheets I have pictures posted I would never give this a good rating as the box spring was covered with mold dirty stains so gross. Went complained of my findings he right away refunded my money so I would not recommend this motel.

We have stayed in some very bad places in our life but this beats an all time low. I had reservations and originally was not going to take our cat but because of Hurricane Matthew decided it would be best to bring her along. I called ahead to make sure they accepted pets: they did and I asked if there was a fee and told no.|1)We get there and they charge us $5.00 a night for the cat (not a big deal as some places get $100.). It was the principle.|2)It is an OLD motel that needs lots of upgrades but that was not a priority. HOWEVER! There was BLACK MOLD in the bathroom.|3) We left a sign on the door for housekeeping not to go in because of the cat ( we were going to be gone for several hours). We got back, new linens , made up bed and our cat was no where to be found. The manager did not care and said it was our own fault.|We looked outside in the wind and rain for nearly 45 minutes before going back. Eventually the put come was good as she had gotten up in the back of the dresser ( we had checked before and not seen her) and eventually came out.|Very rude employees that pretend not to speak English.

Stayed here on 8-3-18 for two nights. Rooms have been cleaned up a bit but not total remodel. Still not very clean and saw roaches the first night. Went to pay for a couple more nights because it may not be great but its cheap and they allowed my service dog. My husbands went to pay for the room and they tell him can't rent due to Service animal. I have up to date papers on my dog,who is a certified service dog for me and has been for years. Business can not legally deni anyone's service animal. I will be calling the Better Business bureau on them tomorrow morning and seeing what action can be made to stop this place from turning people with needs away. I also understand that they allowed pets up until about two weeks ago but because 2 pit bulls were allowed to fight in the parking lot they banned dogs from the property. Not to mention that at 1 o'clock in the morning 4 cars pulled in and about 7 women started banging on doors "supposed" to be looking a coworker but then was dressed for the club and even said lets go back to huxes. Drama,drugs and rude owners are all you get there.
