One of the best beaches in Bloomington nice and clean just all around awesome

Great place to go swimming, and has a nice walking path around the lake, will definitely be coming here again!

Our family loves this lake. We make it a tradition to visit at least once a year. The swimming area is a nice size with plenty of space to sit, picnic, tan, and swim.. Some shadey areas are available. I love that there is a working restroom and showers within walking distance. The park by the swimming area could benefit from an update. Downtown Bloomington is about 20 minutes away.

Plenty of room to have space even while crowded. $7 to get in $9 for non residential. The sand is pretty rocky, but that's normal for Indiana soil. Just don't expect Florida sand. They have roped off designated swimming areas and a bathroom that's in walking distance. Plenty of parking and a ramp to roll your coolera down. Signs say no alcohol permitted, but saw plenty being responsible with no one to stop them.

It's 7 or 8 dollars at the gate to get in and the beach is always absolutely overflowing with people. I have never swam at this part of the lake because there is literally no privacy. You will be right on top of the people next to you. BUT, there are a few excellent restaurants and hotels nearby, as well as a marina that definitely make this beach more attractive.

This is a pretty clean beach. There's lots of beach space and the swim area is a really good size. We had a good time swimming there. The bathroom/shower house is nice and easy to access. There's some shady options in the grassy areas and there's lots of parking.

We really enjoyed visiting this beach! The view across the lake is beautiful. The swimming area was larger than we expected, and there are restrooms available. It seemed very family friendly and safe. There is plenty of room to relax on either side of the swimming area as well, and we took our dog back later in the day to splash around too!
