Stay at your own risk. do not stay here. I had bad experience with roaches and other critters here The rooms are FILLED with roaches of all sizes, amounts other bugs. The microwave was filled with bugs. There are rat traps in the rooms, intended to catch pests and other critters in the room. There are mold spots on the ceilings of the bathroomsand the fridge. They're so unprofessional and rude. Sunny, the manager house keeping is horrible. The condition of the hotel is nasty.

When the place first opened, it was worth staying at decades ago. Now 2024 their petitions going around in the neighborhood to get this rat hole closed and many people have signed it. Probably one of the most dangerous hotels be staying at in the city of Gurnee and Waukegan. Nothing more than drug dealers, hookers, degenerates , etc. etc. Any given day you will see one if not more Gurnee squad cars outside that hotel. Travelers be aware and avoid this place like the plague. There is a way of given this cesspool zero stars. It was most definitely deserve it. Even driving by you can see the storage garage, filled with trash and the first floor rooms with broken windows. This flea motel needs to be eradicated from the city.

Stayed here for business once a week for years, literally the cheapest place my company and I could find and it served me well, staff was amazing and friendly, rooms were sub-par, but I wasn't there looking for all the creature comforts of home. It ain't the Taj Mahal but I wouldn't think twice about staying here again

PLEASE read this review before you book at this hotel. I stayed here for a few days, not knowing how terrible this motel is. ||||There are roaches, A LOT OF THEM. And there are bed bugs. When I let this motel, I threw away EVERYTHING I came in with, because I didn’t want to carry any of that stuff home with me. Even my suitcases.||||There are police constantly roaming around here, and a lot of homeless people in the area. Be mindful of this.||||I would never stay here again. The price may be cheap, but at what cost to your peace or kind and your personal items!? Just… well, I warned you.

He offered to give a discount but why would I want to book another stay at this disgusting hotel? When I had to sleep in my car for the remainder of my stay there. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BOOK HERE !!!!

I was traveling from california to illinois was very tired the room I checked into was NASTY the bed was wet the pillows were soaked . The bathroom towels were soaked rolled up sitting on the back of the toilet. Blood all on the bathroom floor cigarettes burns on the blanket turned ac on a horrific order came out . Bugs in the bed crawling . The front desk guy said the room was fine wiped the blood up with tissue .my Asma said no couldn't breathe and then as I am leaving tells me it's non refundable 141.98 really I wouldn't let my worst enemy sleep there this was July 30th was just nasty smelly . How can people be so nasty no pride was crazy and reservations said clearly they would not charge my card until I saw the room . Being I had an other nasty experience in finding a room . People have no morals the motel look okay but was very poor neighborhood. Window wouldn't open smelled awful very disappointed

Our friend booked two rooms. I spent less than 5 minutes in my room before I was at the front desk ready to check out. ||The room smelled horrible. We had a live roach in the disgusting microwave, the sheets & tub were both covered in burns, the tub drain was clogged with cigarette butts, dead insect parts everywhere and evidence of bed bugs in some of the drawers and on the mattress, mouse/rat droppings behind the side tables and in the bathroom, c*m stains on the bed skirt and carpet, exposed wiring next to the bed, brown stains on one of the towels. ||||The lady at the front desk got pretty defensive when we mentioned evidence of bed bugs, claiming that they've never had any issue with bed bugs, and asked to see my photos. As I was showing her the filth in the room she cut me off and goes: “Let me see the bed bugs.” So I showed her a photo showing bed bug poop in the corner of one of the drawers(indicating a bed bug nest was there.) Still completely in denial, the front desk lady takes my phone and zooms in to a piece of a dead cockroach and goes: “This is what you think is a bed bug? That’s just a piece of a roach.” As if that’s normal? As if their standard of cleanliness allows for dead bugs in their furniture? But she still denied there being bed bugs in the hotel, and checked us out of both of our rooms. ||||The property manager sat listening to my conversation with the front desk lady and never came out from behind the dirty sheet he had pinned up separating off part of the lobby so say a single word to us. ||But he did ask the lady from Expedia that handled my refund to relay a message to me. She said that he “kindly requested” that I not post a review of the hotel or the photos I took. ||||The audacity.||To be fully aware of how disgusting your rooms are, and to then ask someone that has seen and documented that vile filth to keep quiet about it is absolutely deplorable. You should be ashamed of yourself.

NEVER use this hotel if you can avoid it. I booked a room for 5 nights. It was cheap and due to circumstances beyond my control price was my number one factor. Lets start with the fact that due to road construction we could not enter the properly via the actual main entrance. Not the fault of the property by any means but a major inconvenience. When we arrived and went up to our room first thing I noticed was the smell. It smelled musty and stale and smokey everywhere. The carpets were old, dirty and looked like they had not seen a vacuum in months. The first room we were given was as dirty as the hallway and smelled equally as bad. The phone didn't work and there was no running water. We complained and got another room. More of the same. Dirty, stinky and just in disrepair. We considered changing hotels but could not afford to pay for cancelling our reservation and for other accommodations. We went and bought cleaning supplies and bedding to make it habitable. I could go on and on about the cleanliness but what's worse is the absolute horrible service we received. We only got 2 normal towels for 4 occupants and they acted like we wanted their first born when we asked for more. Later in our stay we asked for a clean set of towels and they literally counted the towels. When we asked for anything we were met with rudeness. They clearly do not under hospitality. My husband was actually yelled at by one of the employees and another time we had to wake an employee sleeping in the lobby to ask for towels. Again...I know you get what you pay for but cleanliness and friendliness are FREE! DO NOT BOOK FROM THIS HOTEL!!!!
