FairBridge Inn Express - Hotel in Caseyville - 8950 Tucker Dr Suite 222, USA

Stayed the evening of 9/30/23 and morning of 10/1/23. Location is good, right off of I-64. Not far from I-255 and I 70/55. The lady checking me in was very friendly and helpful. The couple checking me out were decent. The room itself was clean. There were broken fixtures in the bathroom upon arrival. The TV was different. No cable/satellite. Was a smart TV. The room was a little noisy and did have a couple of sketchy people hanging around. No pool, and supplies for what appeared to be for renovations were just inside a side door coming into the building.

The whole building was disgusting. Trash was all along the hallways, everything smelled like cigarettes. They had soiled sheets and towels, wouldn’t provide us clean ones. Roaches in the room, wouldn’t do anything for us. Couldn’t understand anyone DO NOT STAY HERE

Rooms and hotel/staff itself was nice! The people staying there were not respectful at all! Had a fake service dog that barked half the night away, as I only came to sleep I was very annoyed by that. Then there was a parking lot party outside my room at 4am. Was very annoyed again as I listened to the dog barking until 130am..errrr Literally was bout to flip out, but hotel dealt w the party outside thankfully after a phone call. The fake service dog- they couldn't do anything about due to being labeled as service dog. Dog obviously had 0 training, watched it go outside and play in the dumpster area and get yelled at by its "owner"...smh...pretty sure those 2 issues were based around the same long term tenant. Besides that the hotel itself was decent- just wish I got some sleep as to why I booked the room. Hopefully that issue won't be the issue for others

Room was clean, needed more towels tho, only 2 in the room. I do like that there was no carpet, floor is clean. They were in the process of upgrading, which was ok. Wish they offered a breakfast.

If you sleep under the bridge you still be in a better place. I do not recommend this place at all. The worst place i have ever been. Cigarret holes in the blankets, a cane used to keep the window closed, the smell was awful, noise all night and at midnight the fire alarm went off because a guy decided to smoke in the corridor. If I were not so tired I would have left 1 min after I went in.

The size of the room is great as you have plenty of room to move around. The price was okay as well. HOWEVER, the room was not cleaned properly. Yes the sink and tub were fine but the floor was dirty, the pull out sofa was disgusting, there was food left in the fridge and water was leaking from the fridge, the door lock was not working, and the bathroom door would not stay shut. As I lay here in the bed I swear something is crawling on me. I would NOT recommend this hotel for a family but if you just need to stop over for a night it would be okay. I would thoroughly check the room though. I didn't as I was tired and ready to go to bed.

This hotel is one of those you just crash and go. Covid is a time where all hotels should be top notch in cleaning because people are coming and going. Our room was bearable but could have been better. The front desk guy was cool he didn't fuss when we needed face towels because there was none in the room. These hotels shouldn't charge so much for these hotels with roaches and half cleaned toilets. I am just glad there was no bed bugs that was the very best part of this room. Also return your key you get a dollar back. Update 12/28/2021 This hotel still hasn't changed people are so loud no consideration of people trying to rest. The only reason we pick this hotel is because they all smoking, they no longer allow it so this was our last time here. If you can do better do better, if you can't God bless you, at least they don't have bedbugs but they have big nets omg.

I had the feeling that cleaning service walked in, changed nothing but the bed sheets and plastic cups by the sink and left. The hair dryer had some disgusting red/brownish marks on it. There was dirty microwave, dusty vanity, dirty toilet, dirty shower curtain, dirty drawers and floor that needs a good moping. They provided us with only one small soap bar and one tiny shampoo for two adults. And on top of that the first you can smell when you enter the lobby/breakfast area(!) are cigarettes/marijuana although there are warnings everywhere that if you smoke in a non-smoking room and the sprinkle system turns on you will be charged extra. The staff at the front desk was nice but I will definitely not come back because of cleanliness issues.
