Fair Motel - Motel in Upper Saddle River - 255 NJ-17, USA

Positive: Location was on a main road, but that was the ONLY positive of this motel. Negative: It¿s absolutely DISGUSTING! Rooms are rentable for 3 hours at a time (not the type of place I expected to be staying in), the room stunk of cigarettes, towels were filthy, & there were cigarette burns all over the place! We ended up staying elsewhere! Negative: ""

Chambre propre, mais légère odeur de cigarettes. Les matelas de notre chambre étaient sur la fin de leur vie utile. Il y a un frigo et un micro-ondes. Endroit très calme, malgré la présence de l’autoroute juste à côté. Personnel sympathique.

Depuis novembre 2022 j'ai passé plus de 6 semaines sur les routes des US, soit plus de 40 nuits. Je n'ai jamais donné d'avis sur les hôtels visités car ils n'étaient ni exceptionnels ni catastrophiques pour cela. Mais ça c'était avant celui-ci. Je n'ai jamais fait un hôtel si sale et en si mauvais état. Le pire est le bruit : on ne s'entendait même pas parler et il fut impossible de fermer l'oeil de la nuit. On ne devrait pas nommer cet établissement comme étant un hotel/motel tant la qualité est déplorable. Ce sont les 100 USD les moins bien dépensés de ma vie. Since November 2022 I have spent more than 6 weeks on US roads, i.e. more than 40 nights. I have never given an opinion on the hotels visited because they were neither exceptional nor catastrophic for that. But that was before this one. I have never been in such a dirty and run down hotel. The worst is the noise: we couldn't even hear each other speak and it was impossible to sleep all night. We should not call this establishment as a hotel / motel as the quality is deplorable. It was the worst $100 spent in my life.

Hôtel insalubre à fuir impérativement. Des marques évidentes de moisissure & autres saletés. Aucune rénovation depuis le siècle dernier : moquette tâchée & trouée, fenêtres dégondées, porte d'entrée de la chambre qui donne sur le parking posée à l'arrache avec un jour énorme...

Nothing spectacular. It's a budget friendly motel in North Jersey if you just need a no frills room for the night. There's a Quik Chek convenience store 2 minutes down the road. I recently stayed here because the hotels in New York City were too expensive. It's about 30 minutes outside New York

The room was clean and comfortable. Bed was comfy and the sheets were clean. Microwave and refrigerator are provided in the room. No shampoo in the room..no problem I asked at the front desk and it was provided to me. As far as some of the reviews were saying they heard the cars on route 17, I can honestly say that I did not hear the traffic from my room. Coffee is provided in the office in the morning. I would recommend the Fair Motel.

Housekeeper was very very nice. But husband almost fell in the tub it was slippery from what ever they used to clean with. I was told 75.00 get here cause I needed check in little early so I was charged 90.00. Front desk people need to service with a smile if I am giving my money allot at that I want service with a smile. The housekeeper was the best part of the stay.

Love this place! Spacious rooms. Decent price clean. Drive right up to your room and offload a few feet away from your door! T.v needs work to little channel z No wake up call from front desk. Alarm clock in room but no instructions on how to use. No soap in room light in needs to be improved no dimmer switches it's either bright or total darkness no in between.
