Loved staying here. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. We will be back next year! Edited to add that the baby donkey was absolutely adorable also after reading other reviews I’m not sure why anyone wouldn’t LOVE the goats or ponds? The staff was beyond helpful when the washing machine got “stuck” with our clothes in them full of water. Also the amazing woman at the front desk was even more understanding when I made an honest mistake and didn’t realize I didn’t book enough days and only charged me for a late checkout when the policy very clearly states that you have to request a late checkout by 11AM. She could have absolutely charged me for an entire night as it was past 11AM and she did not. She was so incredibly understanding that I made a mistake. Also I called 2 days prior to coming and was able to add a day to the beginning of our stay and the same lady who could have charged me an extra day helped me add a day to the beginning of our stay so we could come early! This was by far the best experience we have had camping. The only regrets that I have about staying here is that I did not book a stall for my horse to stay with us. I will not make that same mistake next year. The barn area is beautiful and we heard nothing but amazing things about the staff in the barn. Our family enjoyed walking from site 1 to the dog park and barns almost daily. Our teenager enjoyed going to the “hammocks” every night with her friend. This was family friendly and I can’t wait to go back.
On my way home from picking up my horse out of state, we spent the night here. I arrived later than expected due to weather on the trip and I was able to reach someone to come and direct me to where I needed to go. The stall was clean, had fresh water and fresh bedding. My horse settled in quickly and I spent the night in my trailer, and was out at first light. I had no trouble finding the location after dark, it is right off of the highway, and the barn was in good condition. That with nice people who manage it, and it is a 5 star review from me! Thank you.
This was our first stay at Fair Harbor. All was impressive except the shower I saw -- a lot of mold & mildew that needed a good pressure washing & bleaching (hence my 2 stars instead of 5 stars for 'rooms'). My wife said another shower she used was 'okay'. Otherwise, everything was top-class, first-rate, and hunky-dory. The campground is a strikingly beautiful, well-groomed park with a variety of amenities -- a great place to stroll & socialize. Full-service hookups were convenient & well-maintained. Gravel sites were level and most were pull-through for easy arrival & departure via the clean & well-maintained asphalt roads throughout the park. The location is convenient to shopping, restaurants and a variety of local fare. The laundry was bright, clean & well-equipped. The staff was attentive, friendly & eager to assist with everything. And the pricing was competitive -- which included free pancakes & coffee in the morning. We will stay here again and recommend it to others.
One of our favorite campgrounds to visit! The office staff are so welcoming and helpful. When we check in our name is on the welcome board. Such a nice touch! The campground itself is nicely kept. We always get a pull thru and every site we’ve had is long (we are 44’), level with full hookups. We have our favorite sites but there isn’t a bad one. It’s a great place to walk around. There are baby goats on the property that come running to the fence as you walk by.
We had the pleasure to stay at this campground several times. Located just off the highway with easy access plus it is near many restaurants and stores. A small lake to enjoy and playground for the kids. The campground is also nice to take in a morning/evening walk. Very clean and great staff. Great location, definitely recommend.
Very nice campground. Extremely clean, quiet. Full hookup is nice. Best WiFi of any place we’ve ever stayed. Comfort stations are very clean and provide privacy for showers.
Stayed one night just passing through Springfield to pick up family for a camping trip. This is probably one of the nicest campgrounds we've stayed at. Large, level sites. There is lots of fun things for the kids and families to do like ping pong, air hockey, foosball giant chess and volleyball. The restrooms were extremely clean, comparable to Fort Wilderness in Disney world. Lots of trees in the campground for shade which was great because the feels like temperature was over 100°. The staff and the office were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this campground if going to the Springfield area.
Huge, quiet campground. Very convenient to the interstate. Staff is friendly and helpful. We have a 42 foot fifth wheel, site was large, level and easy in and out. There is no pool, but they have goats which were adorable. While we were there we visited Plains, GA and Macon. Plenty to see and do in the nearby area!

We had a fun day here with a few extra friends yesterday. The trails were nice, clean and shaded. Lots to explore with the kids. Before our friends got there we walked about half way down the longer trail before turning around to meet them. We'll ha
