The pizza is great. The salad was really lackluster, especially for the price. Really relaxed atmosphere. Seems like there were a lot of regulars and the owner was walking around checking on tables. Overall a good experience, service was fast and great. Don’t waste money on a salad though.

This was a great spot for lunch for me. We ordered the meatball sliders, eggplant app, mussels in white sauce & a sandwich. The eggplant was my favorite. I wish they had side portions of pasta to round out that. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the neighborhood and king street is too busy. Or if you want a friendly welcoming restaurant with great hospitality

Cesar salad was yummy the pizza was good but a little wet in the middle. But the areas of the pizza that were crispy were good.

A group of friends and I went here to celebrate, we had made a reservation almost 1 week prior and when we arrive the table was not set up for the amount of people we had scheduled. We ordered and got the food. The food was okay, at best. Nothing special and the chicken was dry with very little seasoning. Everything immediately went wrong when it was time to pay. First we asked to split the bill and our waiter said yes and after 10 minutes we received ONE check with the total for the table. We asked for it to be split again and she once again agreed. 15-20 Minutes later the waiter came and asked each of us what we had ordered. After ANOTHER 15 minutes we received our checks which were all incorrect. Overcharged or charged for items that we did not have. After half of our party had paid for the incorrect bills as we were just trying to leave at that point. The other half paid for the bills we had received and attempted to leave. The manager stopped us and accused us of not paying for 5 bills. We asked what bills had we not paid for and the manager rudely told us that either someone pays or they would call the cops (we had been compliant and were simply wondering which bills were not paid for). I was already very upset and gave them my card for the bills that 'were not paid for' as to deescalate the situation. Once I was insanely overcharged we left and the manager chased after us and handed us ANOTHER bill that was 'unpaid'. We were all in disbelief at this point and shocked as we were charged more than $100 over what were meant to. The manager started screaming and threatened to call the cops for 'harassments' and 'stealing'. We paid the bill and three of us waited for our ride. While waiting in the lobby, we overheard the manager LOUDLY talking badly about us and called us stupid and unbelievable for not understanding. This ruined all of our nights and we wasted hundreds of dollars on okay food and food we hadn't even ordered. Unbelievably terrible experience here. Never returning.

I have a hard time passing up a meatball sandwich, and I'm really glad I didn't today! It may have well been the best one I've ever had. The meat was very flavorful and just firm enough. The perfect amount of sauce. And the bread was crisp and toasty on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. I'll be back for another!

NY transplants to VA in search of great pizza. We found it! Delicious, crispy, light, well seasoned and tasty pizza in Alexandria, VA. Will definitely be going back to try the fresh pasta and other pizza. The owner, Joe, was warm and full of hospitality. Fantastic place!

Loved it!! Pizza was perfectly done, nothing better than a wood-fired pizza oven. The waitress was very nice and friendly. The bartender was going above and beyond, running between the bar and tables to serve and deliver, so props to him! Great place for some East Coast pizza and Italian cuisine!

Amazing place for wood burnt pizzas. One of our favorites near DC. We have been here many times and still can’t get enough of it. This time we had Greco and customized Bianco based pizza and some bruschetta. This place never fails us. Great customer service and amazing food. Must visit for people in Alexandria.
