First visit for my kids went extremely well. The staff and doc were very nice. They were ready for us as soon as we walked in the door, no waiting around in a packed room. They take HMSA Quest insurance. Hilo office has limited schedule time, which worked for us, just a good thing to know. Highly recommend them. We will be going back for future appointments.
Absolutely love this place! I have never encountered a doctor's office where I liked both the staff and the doctor; it was always either or. They make you feel so welcomed and even feel like family. Every time we go to the office, we never want to leave! Lol.
I’ve been going here for 10 years now and I love the way the doctors and Lisa make you feel like Ohana. Always takes their time explaining. I have eye issue and Mrs dr Hernadise has been very much hands on with me. Lisa has always been on top of everything and so helpful. I went in with broken frames with no back up of glasses. She took care of me with no problem. I highly recommend this place. Lisa and Dr Hernandis mahalo for everything you do!!!
Dr. Hernandez and her staff are very welcoming and professional. I feel like family. I gave them a five star but they're more like a ten stars! I would definitely refer friends and family!

Excellent service and knowledgeable staff. I have a strong Rx, myopia, and astigmatism. Other doctors gave me contact lens rx that required me to also wear reading glasses. Dr. Mealiinani Duarte-Hernandez fixed my Rx so i no longer need readers! 🙌🏼 Absolutely recommend this doctor and practice.
