I booked a week long stay. Upon arrival I waited in the lobby realizing it had a very strong smell of urine. The receptionist at the counter also let a few people cut in front of me in line to receive their mail/packages. Luckily I was able to get on my phone and cancel my stay (free cancelation before 6pm day of check in) Did not even check in to see the rooms.

I'll be honest, based on more recent reviews I was nervous about my upcoming stay. We had booked this last August in preparation for eclipse chasing and wanted to get locked in before demand caused rates to rise. But we had nothing but a good experience here. Not a 5-star hotel, but wasn't intended to be. We weren't going for fancy, we were going for function. The bed and fold out sofa were comfortable. Room was clean and well-kept. Kitchen appliances were functional. We did have to bring our own cookware and plates but that was fine. My only two minor complaints is one of the windows didn't have a screen so it was just open with no barrier, and when we needed an additional pillow and towel they were running low. But the staff were friendly and helpful, and the experience was acceptable and affordable. Again, not looking for a fancy place to stay, just something we could use as a home base while we were traveling and it was perfectly functional and clean. I don't know how other folks had such different experiences than we did, but it was fine. The area is just an office park/industrial area, but it was close to what we needed to get to and relatively quiet all things considered. I would definitely stay here again without concern or issue.

I had such a great experience at a different Extended Stay in another state (San Bernardino, CA) that I decided to give this one a try while traveling across the country. Huge mistake. Bathroom was dirty - there were what looked like toothpaste stains down the front of the vanity and the shower was covered with mildew and another person’s hair. The hall smelled like stale fried food. The entry door reeked of human urine (and stains were visible by the door). There was a visible gap under the door, so all the sounds and smells from the hallway came in easily. We only had one large towel, for double occupancy. The front desk staff was really nice though, the one good thing! I didn’t say anything to the staff, since we were only there one night, but I would never recommend this place to anyone.

For the price you pay this place is way better than the one next door that cost more. we stayed one night at BW and came here and the cost is almost half of next doors. The beds are just as comfortable and the kitchen area is way nicer and more accommodating to away from home stays. The decor is very subtle and inviting with out being an eye sore or over bearing. The staff is friendly and happy to help. The location is a great for easy access to 44 and a quick drive down 141 to Fenton. You can basically be wherever in about 15 min. This is my choice stay for affordability, comfort, and easy of stay. Don't get me wrong it's not a five-star hotel but it's definitely not a dump it's a great choice.

Staying here for a month while working away from home, and everything except for the people who work in maintenance here and 2 people at the front desk are awful. Let’s start from the moment you enter the building; those micro-packs of snacks that are all labeled “do not sell individually” are listed for sale at $3 a pop. There’s a 75% chance that whoever you interact with behind the desk is under the age of 15. You get your room key, walk through the hallway that reeks of animal urine, and make it to your room to find your door is slightly open when it’s meant to be shut. It wasn’t left open intentionally, it just genuinely doesn’t shut all the way unless you pull it shut behind you, even with the hydraulic shutter. You open the door to your room, and it’s appalling. The floors are dirty and the toilet is not flushed. The first thing you notice is the smell. You inspect the room for any problems, simply because you expect there to be some. The only trashcan in your room is a gallon trash can in the bathroom. A light in the bathroom is busted. The oven is dirty and the light doesnt work. The counters are dirty. There’s garbage in the cabinets. TV has scratches across the screen. Sink is greasy. Lower cabinets are falling apart inside, making them unusable. The dishwasher is not functional. Theres a desk, but no chair. Wooden furniture has peeling finish. But you bring your concerns to the front desk. Maintenance says they cant fix the dishwashers because they dont make parts for them anymore, so they were told to do nothing for them. Maintenance gives you an old chair to use at your desk and another gallon trash can for your “kitchenette” (which was honestly the nicest thing to occur at this location). They say they offer free pots and pans with lids, but when you inquire about them, they can only give you an 8 inch pot without a lid. Nothing else, not even any utensils to cook with. But you had a long day, so you order DoorDash. You wait the 30 minutes for a dasher to bring you your food, but they stop the dasher because they’re not allowed near the rooms. You think “oh man, maybe they actually care a lot about the rules” but no. You’re awake until 3:00 the next morning because kids keep running up and down the halls, despite the “Silent Hours Are After 9:00” told to you by the same person who stopped your delivery driver, it appears as if the rules only apply to you. You go outside to smoke since its not allowed inside, and the smell of someone smoking mary jane in the parking lot is all you can smell. A guy walking his dog nods his head at you, before taking a sip of his BuzzBall. I would not recommend staying here for more than 2 days, and the price is definitely not just because the location is awful.

Booked 4 nights here for wedding, ended up leaving after 20 mins. The room was absolutely drenched in cigarette smoke, and they were aware as all the windows were wide open when it was raining. The bathroom was also not clean, the toilet and a mysterious dripping stain on the wall. I tried to switch rooms/get a discount but I determined it was unbearable (and no other rooms were available.) Not only was that experience very frustrating to have to go somewhere else, so far I've had to call three times to get the charge off my card, and haven't solved it yet. Just stay away.

Nice clean rooms due to recent remodel along with a nice 70" (?) tv, which unfortunately could no be seen from bed and washed out due to the window light. However, must mention that the floors turned my white soled slippers black. On check in, found that the smoke detector was beeping, and it took two techs over a n hour to figure out. This was unfortunate as I had just completed an essentially sleepless 24 hr trip. It wouldn't have helped anyways as someone was listening to loud music from his subwoofer equipped car for several hours, and after that subsided, heard another group essentially partying. No effort was made for my request for a top floor, and of course had a heavy footed guest above me. For one reason or another I've had several occasions to stay at Extended hotels and don't think this request is generally accommodated. I suppose being able to share adjoining rooms is good to have for family but offer zero sound proofing. Had a welcoming committee of a couple of flies due to big holes in the window netting I believe. Proper signage regarding the location of office, frequency of cleaning and do not disturb sign for door is lacking. No fault of the hotel but tv acted as rain gauge as one lost tv signal due to heavy rain. Definitely nice to have the microwave. I doubt I will stay at an Extended again if I have a choice as it is not worth the price savings.

Booked a room for the style and amenities. The three beds were the only one that was true. There was supposed to breakfast, nothing, lobby convenience store, nothing. No in room coffee machine no plates cups or any kitchen amenities. The hallway smelled of smoke and was filthy. Beer bottles on the stairs. People hanging and drinking in the stairwell. The top of the refrigerator was filthy At check in the receptionist didn’t even know how to direct us to the right building to the room. I would not recommend this place. The only reason we stayed is we were completing a15 hr drive and were exhausted.
