This stay had numerous and significant issues and I am not likely to stay at another Extended Stay America property because of them. Check in went fine and there were no issues with getting our key cards and room assignment. Initially the room seemed fine. It looked really clean and well maintained. We had to meet some family for dinner so we just dropped off our luggage and quickly left the room. When we came back from dinner it was after eleven so the front foyer was locked and you had to use your room card to get in. Normal for these times. Except when I swiped my key card, and got a green light, the door locking mechanism would buzz but we couldn't open the door. After trying this several times I used the phone in the foyer to ring the front desk. Fortunately there was a staff member nearby who quickly picked up the phone and then saw us in the foyer. She came over but instead of opening the door she began to instruct us in the bizarre machinations you had to perform in order to get the door to work. You had to place on hand on the door handle while simultaneously swiping your key card. Then, when the door lock buzzed quickly yank the door open until it stopped after a few inches. Then wait another moment or two for the locking mechanism to retract again so you could fully open the door so you could enter the hotel. The timing had to be just right or it wouldn't work. After several attempts the staff member just stood there coaching us through the process rather than opening the door. Finally we got the door open and the staff member began to gripe to us about how long the door has been like this and that corporate wont' fix it. I didn't care. I just wanted go to my room and go to bed. (As a side note I had noticed earlier that one of the side door entrances to the hotel was propped open with a stick so that you didn't need a key card to enter the hotel. I removed the stick so that the door could close fully. Now I know why people were propping it open. The card scanner on the side entrances didn't work and with all of the drama required to enter through the front people had just resorted to propping open the side doors.) Unfortunately that isn't what happened. Once we finished settling in it quickly became evident that we didn't have any towels or toiletries in the room. When we tried to call down to the front desk to request these items we discovered that the phone wasn't connected to an outlet. It wasn't just not connected, it had no cable with which to connect to the outlet. So, I walked down to the front desk instead. Once at the front desk we were told that there weren't any towels available but they would have some ready in an hour. If we gave them our room number they would deliver the towels to our room. We WERE given some toiletries though so that was nice. But without any towels the usual bedtime ritual of washing up and then going to bed was not going to happen. The towels never arrived and when I woke up the next morning I walked downstairs to the front desk to check on the towels because it would be really nice take a shower before starting the day. At first the desk manager told me I couldn't get any towels without bringing in my dirty ones. When I protested and said that I never got any to swap out he then asked me my room number. Once I provided that he turned around and behind him was a neatly stacked pile of fresh towels with a sticky note on it that had my room number on it. He then said that those were supposed to be delivered and he didn't know why they weren't. I just thanked him and took the towels and went back up to my room to start the day. Fortunately that was the end of our drama since we used the propped open side entrance like everyone else and just finished our stay and checked out. I expect we'll never stay at that location again.

There was a strange odor in the room. The carpet had multiple bad stains on it. The drains in the tub and sink are in bad shape and need to be replaced. There were some dead bugs in the room - on the floor and in the tub. The check-in person was nice. I tried to get into the hotel after midnight and the door would not unlock while I was using my card. The person who let me in acted very annoyed with me.

We have been here for a week and excellent service, the employees were nice. A very good breakfast and it was free! Pet friendly which is a huge plus, no extra charges for anything. If we needed help we got it quickly. The room was cozy. Had everything we needed. The environment was nice. 5/5

This hotel is in a great location, and it wasn’t too busy, restaurants and shops nearby. The room was clean and had good space, also the beds are comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel like we were at home, help when needed.

Very bad experience. Update 06/06/24(The hotel management only knows how to apologize in this way and that we give it another chance but the truth is that nothing has improved since 2 weeks ago, in fact it has gotten worse. We have already had a week without an elevator and on top of that they have increased my rate.) This place doesn't deliver what it promises. During my two-month stay, there were many inconveniences, which I will detail: - There were weeks when I didn't receive housekeeping service. - Many weeks they didn't provide toilet paper. - They raised the rate without prior notice, despite having a reservation commitment with a set price. - The reception staff is very rude, except for one friendly girl. They lack any kind of customer service. - They left me without towels, and when I requested them at night, they simply said they didn't have any and couldn't do anything, of course in a very rude tone. That day they also left me without pillowcases. - I received a rusty microwave; I requested a replacement but it never happened. - The fridge started leaking, and it took 3 days for the maintenance man to fix it. - The ventilation is very poor; food smells from all rooms mix, creating a complete mess. - The cleanliness in the common areas is almost nonexistent. - The only person who treated us well was Judy, the cleaning lady. She always apologized because they didn't provide her with cleaning products and other items to do a decent housekeeping job. - The worst part is that there's no one to help you because the supposed manager is friendly until he has to solve a problem, then he becomes rude. - The only way to complain is through this channel because there's no suggestions section on the website. - The only good things besides Judy are the location and the beds. - Overall, I don't recommend this place. I don't know how other extended stays are, but this hotel chain leaves much to be desired.

We found it online at 11 pm on Thursday last week. Internet price was $79, which was acceptable. We walked in, and were asked to pay $140. Then, the clerk (April) spent an hour and a half (1.5h!!!!) trying to find a clean room for us. First, dirty. Second, according to the system, dirty. Third on second floor, dirty. Fourth, clean per April. It was 0030 am, when we finally walked into the room. It was still 80F inside given window was open. You could smell the humidity even if the ocean is 1,000 miles away. You can see mold. Beds were dusty. We slept for 5 hours, and left without breakfast at 0630 am. Very unsatisfying experience, despite previous great experience with Extended Stay in Boston, MA. I don't even know where to request refund, but it ain't worth $140.

DO NOT STAY HERE! This has to be the worst hotel stay I have ever had. The bed seemed to be the original bed because it was lumpy and uncomfortable. Pillows were as flat as pancakes. No complimentary kitchen amenities were available upon asking. And the free coffee was dried up before 9am. The dresser drawers were dirty, including food crumbs, hair and dirt. There was trash in the hallway from one night until the next. The brown recluse spider in the bathroom was definitely an unwelcome guest. I stayed 2 nights only to have to listen to people outside drinking and partying on the benches outside my window all night. Oh, and when I checked out, my room statement had someone else's credit card information on MY room! No clue who else may have my card information on theirs. There is no desk attendant half the time. This place is horribly managed if you want to call it managed at all. Not worth the money I wasted at all. If you have the option to stay anywhere else, even your car, I highly recommend it. This place is awful!!! To the owner, you should be ashamed of yourself for the awful way you run your business. Why don't you sell it and let someone else give a try? The only good things about this place is the location and there was at least hot water and cold a/c. Even though the a/c unit had a half inch thick layer of dust on the filter. If you stay here, expect to catch something before you leave, and it won't be a great night of sleep.

This was a last minute booking because the area was full for graduation. I’ve never stayed at a more problematic hotel. The first night I was given the key to someone else’s room. I literally walked in on a man, apologized and went back to the desk. I was then given a filthy room with a broken fridge and freezer. The third room finally was acceptable so I thought. The next morning someone from the front desk/housekeeping easily opened my door even with the bottom lock and latch closed and locked. I was then disturbed EVERY night by the guest next door. Every night sounded like they were throwing furniture, slamming doors, and yelling late into the night until about 1-2am. The hotel has clearly been overrun by locals with no regard for other guest. The rooms have a full kitchen but no dishes were in the rooms. I found a sign in the cabinet that said you can ask the front desk for different dishes packages. My overall experience was UNCOMFORTABLE. If they’re going to rent to locals they need to keep them on one floor. By the way the elevator doesn’t work. You basically have to beg for wash clothes at the front desk. They also talk to you poorly which is probably in response to how the locals treat the staff but they need to decide what type of extended stay they want to be because the locals are truly running it to the ground. I saw efforts from the landscaping that they’re trying to improve how the outside looks but aside from ONE employee the night I checked in, everyone else has been rude and I never got an apology or anything for being walked in on straight out the shower by an employee. It took me right back to that first night where I walked in on a man, and it was just as easy my whole stay for someone else to walk in on me had they been given a key.

If you enjoy a classic diner experience, this place is for you. The service was good, with helpful and knowledgable staff, the food was brought over in a timely manner, and had great flavor (ultimate omelette). The portions were also good sized. Park
