Extended Stay America Select Suites - St. Louis - O'Fallon, IL - Extended stay hotel in O'Fallon - 154 Regency Park, USA

After checking in and being issued a room on the 2nd floor, we were informed that the elevators were out of service. This Location has a "No Smoking" policy. Contrary to contacting the front desk, it habitually smelled of... something on our floor. Though the mattresses have what appears to be a topper, they were still so hard that it would be closely related to sleeping on the floor. Everyone in the lobby after we checked in was friendly and inviting. For the most part, the room was decently clean. The location is close to a Walmart and some eateries.

My husband, teen son and I were in town for a weekend lacrosse tournament. We arrived at the hotel to find the elevators were out of service. We received no notification prior to our arrival. According to the front desk they were waiting for the city to come and evaluate the elevators. My husband is in an orthopedic boot and on crutches. They said they had no rooms on the 1st floor, so he had to hobble up to the 2nd floor and we had to drag all our bags up. Get the room and the AC is not working! It's in the 90s during the day. I go tell the front desk and they say that maintenance won't be in until the morning but they could move us to the 3rd floor! Uh you just saw my husband was on crutches are you kidding me?! So it was a warm night. Went to speak to the manager in the morning before we left for the tournament only to be told she was not working although we were told at check in she would be there in the morning. Manager was off the entire weekend.vThankfully the AC was fixed by the time we returned that evening. The room was basic, in need of updating Bathroom was not well cleaned. Rust on the electric burners in the kitchenette. Killed a bug in the room. Despite all this, we were never offered ANY sort of compensation. Needless to say we will never return to this or any Extended Stay hotel.!

Room was very clean and staff was very kind during all encounters. Breakfast was offered but minimal. However, the rooms are equipped with a full kitchenette so I was able to bring my own food!

As I walk through the main entrance i notice a smell that reminds me of home and that was the smell of clean friendly staff front desks amazing room was clean over good stay

Very good hotel wouldn’t mind stay again front desk was amazing and house keepers seem like they where happy I haven’t seen such good service in along time compared to others I like it

Elevator broken. Hallway carpets have stains. Free breakfast was just a nutrigrain bar or muffin. Quiet 3rd floor room but overall the hotel is aging.

Around 10am the morning we were leaving someone came to our door to start cleaning. I was walking back from putting stuff in the car and before she knocked I told her we didn’t need anything but she swiped the card and tried going in while my girlfriend was undressed. She proceeded to tell me that I already checked out and gave me attitude when I told her that I did not check out and apparently couldn’t accept the fact that I hadn’t checked out yet. She was at the desk when I actually went to check out and gave me a half baked apology and stated that she was confused with a different room.

Front desk lady was super nice and helpful. Rooms are a solid 8/10 for the price, you can't beat it. A few 'meh' maintenance fixes here and there but nothing that will make you not want to stay here. For the most part it's clean and quiet.
